My Piña Colada is not overly sweet, refreshing and tastes distinctly like coconut and pineapple. We love it and I could drink it all summer long!

PINA COLADA RECIPE

4.5 oz pineapple juice (135 ml) (3 PARTS)

oz coconut rum (90 ml) (like Malibu, 2 PARTS)

1.5 oz coconut milk (45 ml) (from a can, shake with

lime juice (optional, can be omitted)

ice cubes

oz (90 grams) frozen fresh pineapple

oz coconut rum (90 ml) (like Malibu)

BLENDER Pina Colada (Frozen Pina Colada - this version is served more often in restaurants) - add all ingredients into a blender container and blitz until almost smooth. Blender Pina Colada will have a slushie/smoothie consistency. You can also use a good immersion (hand) blender to mix the ingredients.

SHAKEN Pina Colada - add all the ingredients into a shaker or a big jar. Shake it thoroughly, for a minimum of 30 seconds. It&#x27;s best to use crushed ice here. You can also serve it on the rocks (simply pour the drink over ice). This drink will be a little thinner.

Malibu Pina Colada can be prepared 2 ways:

Add all the ingredients into a blender container and blitz until the drink has a slushie consistency  (or until smooth). You can also use a good immersion (hand) blender to mix the ingredients.

Serve chilled and enjoy!

Pour the pineapple juice and cream of coconut into a high-powered blender.  Add the ice.  Blend for 30-60 seconds until smooth.

Divide between 3-4 glasses. This makes about 5 cups of pina colada which is about 10 ounces per person if divided between 4 people.

Garnish with pineapple wedges, maraschino cherries, and cocktail umbrellas before serving!

Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender.

Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you have trouble getting it to blend, add a bit more liquid to the mix.

Virgin Pina Colada Recipe (No Alcohol Mocktail)

sugar (or add as required, optional)

First step is to peel and slice the pineapple. I used half of a medium pineapple and got about 2 cups chopped pineapple wedges.

Chopping the pineapple

Add the wedges or cubes in a blender jar.

Add sugar. You can also skip sugar if you like.

Blend to a fine and smooth puree. There should be no pineapple chunks in the puree.

Add the thick coconut milk. You can also use coconut cream, but add some water or coconut water to thin the consistency a bit.

Next add in about 4 to 6 small ice cubes. You could omit adding ice cubes if you prefer.

Blend once more till smooth and everything is mixed evenly.

Pour Virgin Pina Colada drink in glasses and serve immediately. You can garnish with pineapple wedges if you like.

Combine cream of coconut, pineapple juice, rum, and optional frozen pineapple chunks in a blender with ice. Blend until smooth but a little thick and no longer &quot;gritty&quot;, about 15-20 seconds. Add more ice if too thin or watery.

Pour all contents into a hurricane, wine, or double old-fashioned glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge or cherry (or both).

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with preferably crushed or pebble ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
