Spinach and cheese Quiche  - this recipe is so delicious and rich! Good for special occasions, parties and birthdays. Instead of Gruyere cheese you can use any kind of cheese like, such as cheddar. 

Spinach and cheese Quiche Recipe

(280 grams) flour

(170 grams) cold butter, cubed

Broccoli Quiche with Tomato & Cheddar Cheese

inch, deep dish Frozen Pie Crust

onion

broccoli florets (chopped small)

cherry tomatoes

garlic powder

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)

Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

Poke 20 fork pricks into the crust.

Pre-bake crust for 10 mins, and then remove from oven.

In a medium sized frying pan, pan-fry the onions, and broccoli with the oil and season for 3 mins.

Add in the tomatoes and pan fry for another 3-5 mins. Once done, set aside.

In a mixing bowl, Add eggs, yolks, and milk- beat until combined.

Add cheese to pie crust, then veggies, and pour over eggs

Bake for 30-35 mins or until done. If crust is browning too much, loosely cover Quiche with a sheet of foil.

Allow quiche to set for at least 15 mins.

Enjoy warm! Leftovers can be placed in the refrigerator, and placed in a microwave, or toaster oven to reheat.

Quiche Lorraine

Homemade pie crust (, unbaked*)

bacon

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.&nbsp;Prepare your pie pan with your unbaked pie crust. Pre-bake your pie crust for 8 minutes&nbsp;

(I always use pie weights or dry beans or rice on top of parchment paper to keep the crust from shrinking. After the 8 minutes, remove the pie weights and parchment paper.)

Meanwhile,&nbsp;cook bacon, in a skillet. Once cooked, remove to a plate and chop. Remove most of the grease from the pan and add onion.  Saute for 2 minutes.

Layer the bottom of the pie crust with cheddar and Swiss cheeses. Add bacon and onion on top.&nbsp;

Mix the eggs, cream, milk and spices in a bowl. Gently stir while pouring over crust to evenly distribute all of the spices. Sprinkle shredded parmesan cheese on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes - 1 hour, depending on your oven, until the center of the quiche is just set. If you notice the pie crust is browning too much you can place a piece of tinfoil over it while cooking. (I don't usually need to do this).

Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Store leftovers, covered, in the fridge.

How to make a quiche using any filling of your choice!! This basic quiche recipe is the ONE and ONLY recipe that you need to make a smooth and creamy quiche. All the tips and tricks you need to know to make and serve the best quiche ever!

Basic Quiche Recipe (Using Any Filling of Your Choice!)

Prepare Crust: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll pie crust out and fit into 9 inch pie dish. Trim any excess crust and flute the edges.

Blind Bake Crust: Line the inside of the pie crust with parchment paper and fill with pie weights or beans (I use pinto beans) make sure that they are up against the sides of the pie crust. Bake the crust for about 20 minutes. Remove the weights and then bake for another 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. The crust will be golden.

Prepare the egg mixture: add the eggs to a large measuring cup. Add the heavy cream, then add the milk, the total measurement of the eggs, cream and milk should come to 2 and 1/2 cups (600 ml). Add the salt and pepper.

Mix: use a hand mixer, or whisk vigorously, to ensure the egg and cream mixture is completely mixed.

Add Fillings: Spread the desired fillings on the bottom of the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture on top.

Bake: Bake the quiche at 350℉ degrees for about 45-50 minutes. The quiche will be slightly wobbly in just the center.

Cool: Allow to cool for about 20 minutes to room temperature. Quiche can be served warm, cold, or room temperature.

Basic Quiche Recipe

Impress your guests with the perfect little mini broccoli cheddar quiches. Great for Easter, Mother&#39;s Day, or any brunch gathering.

Mini Broccoli Cheddar Quiches

Tbsp butter, room temperature (0.80)

cream cheese, room temperature (0.58)

+ 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour (0.07)

eggs (0.46)

milk (0.10)

Parmesan (0.44)

garlic powder (0.02)

tsp pepper

salt (0.02)

cheddar cheese, shredded (0.58)

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Add the room temperature butter and room temperature cream cheese to a bowl. Use a mixer to whip them together until evenly combined.

Begin stirring in the flour, about ¼ cup at a time, until a dough forms. The dough should be soft, but not sticky.

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions (begin by dividing into four pieces, then divide each quarter into three equal-sized pieces). Roll each piece of dough into a ball, then drop each one into the well of a muffin tin. Use your fingers to press the dough down into the center and up the sides of the wells (see step by step photos below for more help).

Whisk together the eggs, milk, Parmesan, garlic powder, pepper, and salt in a bowl.

Finely chop the thawed broccoli florets (about 1.5 cups once chopped). Shred the cheddar cheese (about 1 cup shredded). Add the broccoli and cheddar to the egg mixture and stir to combine.

Divide the broccoli cheddar mixture between the twelve mini pie crusts. The liquid egg mixture will not fully submerge the broccoli and cheddar in the crusts, but it will puff up and fill the crust once baked.

Bake the mini quiches in the preheated oven for 35 minutes or until puffed in the center and golden brown around the edges.

Carefully transfer the baked quiches to a wire rack to cool. Serve warm, or at room temperature within two hours of baking.

Easy Puff Pastry Quiche Recipe

puff pastry (half of one 17.3-ounce package), thawed

Unfold pastry sheet on to a pie dish. If you want it to have nice edges, go around and cut the excess puff pastry all the way around, leaving 1/4 inch over lap. You can also lay it flat on a baking sheet and create a rectangular quiche.

Whisk eggs, rosemary, pepper and salt in a bowl. Whisk in yogurt or sour cream. Pour egg mixture over toppings over puff pastry. Bake until pastries are puffed and golden and toppings are set, about 18-22 minutes.

Set a rack in the middle of your oven and preheat it to 425°F. Next, roll the puff pastry into an 11-inch square and transfer it to a 9-inch diameter pie plate. Then puncture the bottom of the puff pastry a few times with a fork and trim the edges.

Cover the puff pastry with a sheet of parchment paper and add a pound of dry beans or pie weights. Then, cover the edges of the pastry with a pie shield or ring made of aluminum foil to prevent them from burning. Bake for fifteen minutes.

While the puff pastry par-bakes set a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon strips and cook until crispy. Next, chop the bacon into bits. Set aside the chopped bacon and reserve the drippings.

Remove the puff pastry from the oven. Carefully remove the pie shield. Then carefully remove the parchment paper with the beans or pie weights.*

Cook the onion in the bacon drippings until translucent (about 2 minutes). Next, add the garlic clove and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, heavy cream, and milk until smooth.

Add the beaten eggs, shredded Swiss cheese, cooked onions and garlic, nutmeg, salt, and freshly ground pepper. Finally, set aside 2 tablespoons of chopped bacon for garnish and add the rest to the filling. Stir well.

Pour the filling into the prebaked crust. Brush the crust with 1 teaspoon of heavy cream.

Cover the edges of the quiche with a pie shield or aluminum foil ring. Bake until the crust is golden brown and the filling sets, about 25 minutes. Remove the pie shield and cool the quiche for 10 minutes before serving. Finally, garnish with remaining bacon bits and chopped Italian parsley.*

Easy Asparagus Keto Quiche

Pieces of Green Asparagus

Eggs

Yogurt

Parsley

Camembert Cheese

(2 Cups) Shredded Mozzarella

(1 Cup) Almond Meal or flour

Tablespoon (5 grams) Garlic Powder

Prepare fathead dough

Place a pot on the stove and switch on the medium heat

Add Mozzarella

Once the pot is heated, add shredded mozzarella and let it melt completely using spatula to mix from time to time

Add Almonds

When mozzarella has melted fully (check video), add almond meal and garlic powder and knead with spatula until both gets properly incorporated

Add Egg

After you are satisfied with the dough, switch the heat off completely and add egg.

Workout the dough

Knead the egg into the dough to incorporate it fully with spatula

Prepare filling

Mix Eggs, Yogurt and Parsley with a hand held mixer in a bowl.

Add asparagus pieces

Add 2 pre-cut asparagus pieces and mix again with spatula

Heat up oven

Oil your casserole ( I have used 10 inch Quiche casserole) a bit to prevent crust sticking while serving

Spread the dough

With oiled hand or base of a small Mason Jar (oiled as well) spread the Fathead dough throughout the casserole evenly. Do not forget sides as well

Make holes

Using fork, make small holes throughout the whole crust.

Add filling

Spread cheese

Cut all 8 remaining Green asparagus to half and place it on top of the filling. Once done, add the Camembert Cheese throughout the whole dish

Simple crustless zucchini quiche recipe with fresh herbs, tomatoes, and shallots. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner.

Crustless Zucchini Quiche Recipe

tomato

Private Reserve extra virgin olive oil

zucchini, sliced into rounds (about 8 ounces sliced zucchini)

shallots, sliced into rounds (about 3.5 ounces sliced shallots)

Kosher salt and pepper

tsp sweet Spanish paprika, divided

mozzarella (nearly 2 ounces)

tbsp grated Parmesan (about 0.35 ounces)

eggs,

skim milk

tsp baking powder

flour

parsley (about 0.2 ounces)

Arrange sliced tomatoes on paper towel and sprinkle with salt. Leave for a few minutes, then pat dry.

Meanwhile, in a large cooking skillet, heat 2 tbsp Private Reserve extra virgin olive oil over medium heat until shimmering but not smoking. Add zucchini  and shallots. Season with kosher salt, pepper, and 1/2 tsp sweet paprika. Raise heat slightly, and sautee, tossing regularly, until vegetables are tender and nicely colored (with some brown spots on zucchini).

Transfer the cooked zucchini and shallots mixture to the bottom of a lightly oiled 9-inch pie dish like this one. Arrange sliced tomatoes on top. Add mozzarella, and Parmesan (spread evenly across).

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, remaining 1/2 tsp paprika, baking powder, flour, and fresh parsley.

Pour egg mixture into the pie dish on top of the cheese mixture.

Bake in 350 degrees F heated-oven for about 30 minutes or until the egg mixture is well set in the dish.  Remove from oven and wait 5 to 7 minutes before slicing to serve (Quiche will puff up slightly because of the baking powder, but will quickly go down as it sits.)

It tasted ok but the flour and baking powder were clumpy.  Will not be trying this one again 😕
