<em>Delicious!! I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out perfectly!!  I see some suggestions to pre-cook the pasta, but I don’t know why.  There is exactly the right amount of liquid called for.</em>

It was exactly as I expected &amp; that was good! I used lean ground beef and Banza chickpea pasta (gluten sensitivity). Easy, quick, family friendly.

I followed the directions and it came out great. I actually used organic spiral pasta and it cooked in about 17- 20 minutes. Didnt have to add any extra liquid. I did add red pepper flakes to give it a little kick. I didnt stir the cheddar cheese in as I am allergic.  I used a little goat cheese and it was really good!

I am not a goulash fan, but I loved this one! I used a thicker pasta, so I added a little more beef broth.

This was my first time making goulash. It came out good but I'm not a pro, still in all most important thing is that my husband loved it.

This recipe is easy and fantastic! My family loves it! Great for work nights!

My kids loved this recipe! Followed it step by step. The only thing I added was diced red peppers for a bit of sweetness. Once you add your noodles, bring it to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover (stirring occasionally) and simmer for 15 minutes and it’s perfect. If pan is not covered all the liquid will evaporate.

I’ve made this recipe many times before and it comes out great! I quadruple the recipe though because we have a large family. Kiddos love it! If you are making a bigger batch you have to allow more cook time for the pasta. Delicious!

Terrible recipe!  There is absolutely not enough liquid in this recipe to completely cook the macaroni.  They say to cook 15 minutes.  No way.  I had to add about a cup of water and cook for about an hour in order to make the macaroni edible.  If you make this I would suggest cooking the macaroni separate and adding at the end.  The flavor is good and I will try it again but cooking the macaroni by itself first and probably only a cup, not a cup and a half.

This is a super easy one pan meal. It&#39;s quick and since it only requires one pan, clean up is super easy too. I just cook the onion and garlic along with the ground beef. I use 93%
lean ground beef and do not need the olive oil at all since the beef renders enough fat to cook the onion and garlic. I used 5 or 6 cloves of garlic since we love garlic. I also used reduced-fat shredded sharp cheddar cheese to make this dish WW friendly. This reheats well so the last two servings were sent with the kids to school for lunch the next day.

I've been looking for a recipe close to what my mom and grandma made and this is perfect. I cook the whole thing on low but do not drain the grease I put everything in one pan and cover once I add the pasta and comes out perfect everytime. You can always add more broth or water if you prefer soft noodles but for me and my family we like them just over al dente

Do not cook the pasta with the sauce, takes forever and burns to the pan. I have added 6 cups of water and still isn’t cooking. Otherwise delicious

Yum! Grampa chief cook here. Added one diced poblano pepper sautéed with the onion. Omitted the tomato paste (didn’t have it), substituted regular diced tomatoes with Rotel ‘original’ diced tomatoes with chilies. Cooked the noodles separately al dente and added.  SW style American goulash. perfect.

So I used all the ingredients except the chopped parsley. I feel like I was just making spaghetti sauce and added elbow macaroni? Did not taste bad, but not using this recipe for a goulash. I would not recommend it.

This is awesome!  I grew up on goulash.  It was made with the diced tomatoes but a lot of ketchup!  All of these flavors and spices combined with the cheese blend beautifully!  I easily ate 3 servings myself in one sitting!  :)

Jalapeño Cheddar Chicken is a delicious, spicy Instant Pot creamy chicken recipe. Made with jalapeños and chili powder, this recipe is mildly spicy but can be made even spicier with more jalapeños. Chicken and veggies come together with a creamy cheese sauce that can be served over rice, noodles, in burrito bowls, in tacos, or enchiladas.

Jalapeño Cheddar Chicken (Instant Pot Recipe)

lbs chicken tenders

onion, diced

garlic cloves,

chicken broth

heavy cream

corn

scallions, chopped

tsp chili powder

½ tsp oregano

tsp pepper

cilantro,

tbsp flour

Turn the Instant Pot to saute on high for 6 minutes. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in the pot. Add chicken tenders and brown on each side for 2 minutes. Add jalapeños, onions, and garlic, toss with the chicken, and saute for the remaining 2 minutes.

Add the broth to the pot and deglaze, scraping any stuck pieces of food from the bottom. Add corn, scallions, heavy cream, chili powder, oregano, salt and pepper. Do not stir.

Seal the lid and set to pressure cook on high for 6 minutes. Let naturally release for 10 minutes, then quickly release the remaining pressure. Remove the chicken and set aside while completing the next 3 steps.

Remove the inner pot to a heat-proof surface and let cool for 2 minutes. When cooled, add the cheese 1 cup at a time, stirring between additions to melt the cheese *The sauce will be watery at this stage.

Melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter in the microwave. Whisk the flour into the butter to form a thick paste.

Put the inner pot back into the pressure cooker and set to saute on high for 6 minutes. Add the butter/flour paste to the pot and whisk until incorporated, about 1 minute. Stir the sauce occasionally while it simmers for the remaining 5 minutes, gently scraping the bottom to remove any cheese that may have stuck. You&#039;ll feel the sauce begin to thicken as it simmers.

Turn off the Instant Pot and add the chicken back to the pot along with the cilantro. Let rest for 5-10 minutes if desired to thicken the sauce further. There will be extra sauce for serving over rice, noodles, or to use as a dip for tortilla chips.

This Indian-inspired lamb steaks with tomato and pinach pilau makes for a quick and interesting midweek meal, that&#8217;s low in saturated fat and salt.

x 100 grams lean, boneless lamb steaks

onion,

garlic

ginger,

green chilli, deseeded and chopped

whole blanched almonds

yogurt,

tbsp cumin

turmeric powder

For the pilau

tsp cumin seeds

tomatoes, diced

basmati rice

baby leaf spinach

Season the lamb and put into a shallow ovenproof dish. Put onion, garlic, ginger, chilli, almonds, yogurt and the spices in a food processor and whizz to a paste. Season and pour over the lamb. Turn to coat, cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 230°C/fan 210°C/gas 8. Uncover the lamb and cook for 20 minutes, turning halfway.

Meanwhile, heat a non-stick saucepan over a medium-high heat. Add the cumin seeds and turmeric, stir for 20 seconds, then stir in the diced tomatoes, basmati rice, 600ml boiling water and a pinch of salt. Cover and bring to the boil. Stir once, reduce the heat to low and cook, covered, for 12 minutes.

Add the spinach to the pan (don’t stir in), cover and cook for a further 3 minutes or until the spinach has just wilted. Stir through the rice, fluffing up the grains with a fork.

Spoon onto plates, place a lamb steak alongside and spoon over the sauce. Serve with a spoonful of yogurt and garnish with coriander.

The secret to two-minute fries? Utilising your box grater. Rum is the secret ingredient in this speedy steak marinade.

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute more.

Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain fat and return to pan. Season with salt and pepper.

Add tomato paste and stir to coat, then pour in broth, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes. Season with Italian seasoning and paprika, and stir in macaroni. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes.

Stir in cheese and remove from heat.&nbsp;

Garnish with parsley before serving.&nbsp;

I boiled my noodles halfway done then added to pan so it could soak up the flavor. Very tasty.

Well I am old enough to remember Johnny Marzetti but I only heard this dish growing up as "Mama's Goulash. Regardless the title this recipe was spot on "delish". My very picky, ole school  southern husband, cleaned his plate and my 2 grown sons had seconds so I'm calling this a winner.

Made this recipe as part of my meal planning for the week and turned out better than I thought. Added a whole box of noodles instead of what the recipe said and still turned out really good. Plus side is the kiddo loves it.

My family absolutely loved this goulash. My mother used to make this and we have not had it in years. I used penne pssta instead of macroni and everyone raved about how good it was. My son had two helpings and took home leftovers.

Whatever you want to call this dish, it is delicious! I added 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder. Add those in with the tomato sauce. I also stirred about 2 tablespoons of tomato paste into the meat. One more very important thing to do is put a lid on your pan as soon as it starts to simmer. Reduce the temp to low and set a 15 minute timer. Check the noodles in 15 minutes. If they aren’t ready, check every theee minutes til done. The parsley is very optional at the end. Everyone in my family of 5 had two plates. Thank you for the recipe!

This recipe came out amazing! I have made goulash a number of times, but I felt this recipe was one of easiest and tastiest. I did double the recipe and it still turned out perfectly. Because I knew I would have to drain the beef I added the garlic after draining the fat. I can see how some of the macaroni may not have cooked quite as well in the skillet. After cooking the beef I transferred it over to a pot to finish the cooking process. With this the pasta cooked perfectly and there was the right amount of liquid to cook the pasta. This recipe ended up in our favorites folder for future use!

I am a freshman at college and made this meal for my sister and her roommates tonight. The only thing i had baked before this was brownies. So this meal was super super easy and super super yummy. 10/10 rating from everyone around the table tonight. Gonna try the baked spaghetti next!
