Super easy ranch pasta salad for a delicious dish just like Ruby Tuesday serves on the salad bar!  Perfect as a side dish or a main meal.

Ranch Pasta Salad Recipe

dry rotini pasta

mayonnaise (not salad dressing)

buttermilk

dry ranch dressing mix

salt

green peas

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook rotini until it is just past al dente.

Drain into a colander and rinse with cold water until pasta is cool.

Set pasta aside and allow to dry for about 30 minutes.

While pasta is cooking, combine mayonnaise, buttermilk, ranch dressing mix, and season salt in a large bowl and mix until combined.

Add in frozen peas and stir. The peas will thaw a bit during mixing and will finish thawing while pasta cools.

Add ham and cool, dry rotini and mix until well blended.

Can be eaten immediately, but flavors will improve by placing into the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

corn, kernels stripped

c. ranch dressing

Loved the flavor, texture  and crunch.  I made homemade ranch dressing and added home grown cherry tomatoes😋.  Roasted my corn kernels with olive oil in toaster oven.

I've made it many times and a huge hit with the kids.

Ranch Pasta Salad is the best pasta salad side dish! Rotini noodles, cucumber, tomato, broccoli, parmesan cheese with an easy dressing of ranch. Everyone will love this pasta salad!

Ranch Pasta Salad

box (12 oz) tricolor rotini pasta

broccoli

cucumbers ((peeled & seeded))

tomatoes

parmesan cheese

ranch dressing ((more or less to taste))

mayonnaise

sour cream

parsley

dill weed

chives

onion powder

garlic powder

worcestershire sauce

pepper

Cook pasta according to package instructions. Remember to salt the pasta water so the noodles have some flavor. I use about 1 teaspoon salt. Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water so pasta can cool. 

In a mixing bowl combine the cooled pasta, broccoli, cucumber, tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. Stir. Add ranch and stir again to coat the noodles and veggies in the ranch.  

Serve right away or let it refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving. Pasta salad tends to dry out in the fridge so don't leave it in there too long before serving. If needed, add some additional dressing and give it a good stir to moisten it back up.&nbsp;

** If you are making the homemade ranch dressing, I would suggest making it before you make the salad so it has plenty of time to refrigerate and get cold. Combine all the ranch dressing ingredients into a small bowl and stir with a wire whisk. It makes just enough for the salad. For leftovers, I just use store-bought ranch dressing to moisten it back up.

fusilli tri-color pasta (or pasta of choice)

Cook the pasta according to package directions.  Drain and rinse in cold water.

Creamy homemade ranch dressing coats every bite of pasta and vegetables in this Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad. Sprinkled throughout with bacon and cheddar cheese, you&#039;re sure to love it!

Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

pasta shells

peas (thawed, about 1 1/2 cups)

grape tomatoes (about 1 cup, halved)

cheddar or Colby jack cheese (about 3/4 cup shredded)

bacon ( cooked and crumbled)

avocado (for topping)

milk

dill

black pepper

lemon juice

Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package, adding a generous tablespoon or so of kosher salt to the water as it cooks. When the pasta is tender, rinse well with cold water. While the pasta is cooking, rinse the peas to thaw them.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, milk, dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the lemon juice, taste, and add more lemon if desired. 

Add the peas, cooked pasta, tomatoes, cheese, and bacon to the mixing bowl with the dressing. Stir gently to coat all the ingredients. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired. 

Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir again just before serving. Enjoy!

Combine all dressing ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel lined plate to cool. If desired, whisk 1 tablespoon bacon grease into the dressing.

Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.

Set aside 1 tablespoon of green onions and half of the bacon for garnish.

Toss all ingredients in a large bowl except dressing. Add dressing to taste (there may be leftover dressing).

oz tri color rotini pasta

red bell pepper (finely diced)

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add rotini pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain water. Rinse pasta with cold water to cool. Set aside.

Add pasta, ham, peas, and red onion to the dressing bowl. Stir until well combined. Add olives and gently toss to combine.

I just made this as a side dish for dinner tonight and it was AMAZING! My daughter and my fiance were in the kitchen begging for bites as I was getting it ready to chill lol! I will definitely be making this again!
