This homemade raspberry jam is packed full of delicious fresh fruit, once you&#039;ve made your own you&#039;ll never want to buy it from the store again!

Raspberry Jam

raspberries

superfine sugar/caster sugar (or granulated)

butter

lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

lemon zest

Wash and prepare the raspberries.

In a medium saucepan, add the prepared raspberries, granulated sugar, butter, and fresh lemon juice. Mix over medium-low heat until sugar dissolves (about 5 min).

Increase the heat and bring mixture to a boil. Stir and mash the raspberries frequently and continue to boil until the jam has thickened (or until it reaches a temperature of 220°F/104°C) This will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Pour the jam into a clean jar and allow to cool. Once cooled, cover and refrigerate.

Homemade Raspberry Jam Recipe (Low Sugar &amp; No Pectin)

raw honey

vanilla extract

lemon juice

chia seeds

To a small saucepan, add raspberry, honey and vanilla extract.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Using a spatula mash up the berries.

Add in lemon juice and chia seeds, simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Scratch the &#8220;scum&#8221; or froth off the top. Remove from heat and let cool.

Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator. Serve when ready.

I just made this jam using raspberries we picked this afternoon. It’s delicious!! I added a tablespoon of sugar to the 2 tablespoons of honey, and may add another tablespoon of sugar in my next batch as the jam is a little bit tart, but still amazing.

Raspberry peach jam combines ripe raspberries with juicy peaches for the best homemade jam made with only 5-ingredients!

Raspberry Peach Jam

peaches (pitted, peeled and sliced)

sugar

(1.75-ounce) package fruit pectin

In a 8-quart saucepan, cook the raspberries and peaches over low to medium heat until soft. Lightly mash the fruit with a potato masher.

Meanwhile, prepare a boiling water canner. Heat the jars and lids in simmering water until ready to use. Do not boil. Set bands aside.

In a large measuring cup, combine 2 cups sugar with the pectin. Add the lemon juice and sugar-pectin mixture to the fruit. Over high heat, bring the mixture to a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon. Boil for 1 minute. Add the remaining 5 cups of sugar immediately, and bring back to a hard boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Turn the heat on low to medium. Skim foam if necessary. Ladle hot jam into the hot jars, leaving ½ inch head-space. Wipe the rim of the jar with a damp paper towel. Center the lid on the jar. Apply the band until the fit is fingertip tight.

Process jars in a boiling water canner for 10 minutes, adjusting for altitude. Remove the jars and allow to cool completely. Check the lids for seal after 24 hours. The lid should not flex up and down when the center is pressed. Store jars in a cool, dry place for up to 18 months.
