Combine all ingredients and chill for 30 minutes before serving.

This Mexican Sour Cream Dip is creamy, cheesy, zesty and totally addicting! It’s made with a blend of sour cream, tomatoes, green chiles, taco seasoning and cheddar cheese. Serve with tortilla chips or Fritos for the ultimate party snack.

Mexican Sour Cream Dip

(16 ounce) container sour cream

(10 ounce) can Rotel (NOT drained (any brand diced tomatoes and green chiles))

(4 ounce) can chopped green chiles (drained)

taco seasoning

cheddar cheese

green onions

Combine all ingredients in a large serving bowl. Cover and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour (at least). Garnish if you&#39;d like and serve cold with your choice of chips or crackers.

Easy Sour Cream Dip

sour cream (can use reduced-fat sour cream

Tbsp minced onion (see note)

dill weed

parsley

½ tsp kosher salt

{optional} chopped parsley or chives

{for serving} potato chips (crackers, vegetables (broccoli, carrots, sliced cucumbers, etc.))

Using a medium bowl, add all ingredients except for chopped parsley; stir until well combined.

Place dip in an airtight container, cover and chill for at least 2 hours (preferably overnight).

{Optional} Before serving, garnish with chopped parsley, chives or green onions on top.

Serve with potato chips, crackers and/or veggies (broccoli, carrots, sliced cucumbers, etc.)

Oh I love sour cream based dips - they are super easy to make, fresh, and versatile (I love the addition of finely minced radishes). Also, that's one of my favorite addition to potatoes, either boiled or fried/baked. If you haven't tried potatoes with sour cream, give it a try!

I love dips too! I always have some sort of dip on hand, whether it's store-bought or homemade. This sour cream dip sounds delicious, David! Kosher salt

black pepper

cayenne pepper

lemon juice

Worcestershire sauce

green onions dill

Put sour cream and mayo in a large bowl.

Add dry spices: parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.

Add liquid ingredients: lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.

Mix well to combine, with a whisk.

Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving, for best results, but you can serve immediately if you wish.

Great dipping sauce. It is just like the one from Chammps!

This sour cream dip was perfect for pierogi dipping. It does taste like Champs sauce too.
