This simple recipe for air fryer roasted maple delicata squash uses maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon. In this recipe I tell you how to air fry delcious delicata squash. It's so easy! 

Air Fryer Roasted Maple Delicata Squash

Delicata

Slice the Delicata squash in half. Remove the seeds from the center. Cut the ends off and discard. Slice the squash into 1/4 inch thick half rounds.

Place squash, olive oil, maple syrup, salt, pepper and cinnamon in a large bowl. Stir to coat the squash thoroughly.

Pour the squash mixture into the basket of your air fryer. Drizzle the sauce from the bowl over the squash.

After 12 minutes check the squash. It should be cooked through and starting to brown. If there isn't any browning yet cook at 400 degrees for another 2-5 minutes.

Ninja Foodi Grill Chicken Wings

Chicken Wings (Uncooked wings, flats and drums seperated, patted dry)

Goya Adobo Seasoning (Pepper flavored)

Non-Stick Cooking Spray (Non-aerosal spray)

add seasoning

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings and Adobo seasoning (or any other all seasoning of choice) and mix well using a mixing spoon.

pre-heat

Pre-heat the Ninja Foodi XL grill on AIR CRISP mode, 400 degrees for 40 minutes.

Lightly spray the chicken wings with the non-stick cooking spray.  Be sure to evenly coat all wings.

Place the chicken wings into the air crisp basket and close the lid.

Begin to cook on AIR CRISP mode for 400 degrees, 40 minutes cook time.

Every 5-10 minutes open the lid and mix, shake, flip the wings often to provide an all-around even cooking.

With 5 minutes of air crisp time remaining, open the lid and remove the chicken wings from the crisping basket and place them into a large bowl.

add sauce

Add the Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo sauce (or any other sauce of your liking) and mix well.

return wings to pot

Place the wings back into the Ninja Foodi XL Grill and cook for the remaining 5 minutes.  When the time is up, open the lid and remove the wings.  Top with additioanl sauce if desired.

A tried and tested recipe for Chinese spring rolls. You don’t need to precook the filling. Two frying methods are provided.

Chinese Spring Rolls (春卷), Deep-Fried or Air-Fried

spring roll wrappers (25×25cm (10×10 inches), see note 1)

pork (or chicken/beef) (7 ounces)

120 g carrot, grated (about 2 cups)

130 g bean sprouts (about 2 cups)

100 g Chinese chives,

shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced (rehydrate beforehand

scallions,

100 g dried mung bean vermicelli,

eggs

tbsp oyster sauce (see note 2 for substitutes)

tsp sesame oil

salt

sugar

¼ tsp ground white or black pepper

Cooking oil

tbsp white rice vinegar (or fresh lemon/lime juice)

tsp light soy sauce

garlic,

Fresh chili pepper, finely chopped (to taste)

Ready-made spring roll wrappers usually come frozen. Defrost in the fridge the night before.

Put all the ingredients for the filling into a large mixing bowl (NB: leave out one egg yolk for brushing the wrappers).

Add all the seasonings. Mix until well combined (It’s best to do so with your hands. Wear kitchen gloves if available).

Mix the filling

Gently separate the spring roll wrappers one by one. Remember to always cover them with a clean damp cloth as they dry out easily.

Place one wrapper on a flat surface with one of the four corners facing towards you. Put about 3 tbsp of the filling above the closest corner (Use a spoon to help shape it into a rectangle).

Lift the closest corner to wrap the filling then roll it to the half-line of the wrapper. Try to wrap it as tight as possible without leaving any air pockets inside. But be gentle during this process to avoid tearing.

Lightly press two ends of the filling then fold the left and right corners of the wrapper towards the middle.

Roll the cylinder until only a triangle is left at the top. Brush a layer of egg yolk over the triangle. Roll again to seal completely. Repeat to assemble all the rolls.

Assemble the rolls

Heat the oil for deep frying until it reaches 180°C/350°F. Gently slide in the rolls one by one (Do not overcrowd. Fry them in batches if necessary).

Fry over medium heat. Flip over a few times to ensure even browning. When they become golden, transfer out to a tray lined with kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.

Option 1: Deep fry the rolls

Preheat the air fryer at 200°C/390°F for 3 minutes. While waiting, brush a layer of oil all around the spring rolls.

Put the rolls over the crisper tray of the air fryer in a single layer. Leave to cook for 8-10 minutes. Then flip over and cook for a further 5 minutes until they become golden.

Option 2: Air fry the rolls

Serve warm on their own or with the dipping sauce.

To reheat leftover spring rolls, put them in a preheated oven at 200°C/390°F for about 5 minutes, or in an air-fryer at 200°C/390°F for 3 minutes or so.

Serve and reheat

You may store uncooked spring rolls, right after they’re assembled, in the freezer for up to three months (Keep them in an air-tight bag/container).

Cook as usual without defrosting. If deep frying, raise the temperature to 190°C/375°F. If air-frying, prolong the cooking time by 3-5 minutes.

Easy Air Fryer Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia

Olive oil pump spray (not aerosol olive oil)

Place the frozen tilapia fillets on an aluminum or stainless steel baking pan while preheating air fryer and measuring ingredients.

Crazy Good Tip: These few minutes on the baking pan will ever so slightly thaw the fillets just enough to allow the breadcrumbs to stick to the oil on them. Here&#039;s the article from The Kitchn spelling out the details of why placing frozen fish and meat on aluminum and stainless steel thaws significantly quicker than stone, wood or plastic surfaces.

Preheat air fryer to 390-400 degrees for 3 minutes. Most air fryers preset “air fryer” button is 390F to 400F degrees.

Spray or coat fish fillets with olive oil sprayer or mister or brush with olive oil. (Not Pam aerosol vegetable cooking spray)

Sprinkle both sides of fillets with salt and if desired, pepper.

Sprinkle the top side of fillets with Parmesan cheese.

Place the dry breadcrumbs on a plate and gently press the fish into the breadcrumbs to coat them. If you have trouble getting the breadcrumbs to stick to the fish, wait just a few minutes or

I like to spray the breaded fish again on top with a little bit of olive oil spray (again, not aerosol)

Frozen fish: Air Fry at 390-400 degrees for 9 t0 11 minutes, without turning, depending on thickness of fish until fish flakes easily in the center.

Fresh fish: Air Fry at 390-400 degrees for 7 minutes, without turning, depending on thickness of fish until fish flakes easily in the center.

Carefully remove the fish with a silicone coated spatula to prevent scraping the nonstick surface.

A scrumptious dish inspired by a Cantonese classic, char siu chicken can be easily cooked either in an oven or an air fryer. A video tutorial is included.

Char Siu Chicken (Roasted or Air fried)

chicken thighs, skin

tbsp char siu sauce (see note 2)

oyster sauce

¼ tsp Chinese five-spice powder

½ tsp chili powder (optional)

ginger

tsp honey (or golden syrup)

Put chicken thighs into a resealable plastic bag. Add the rest of the ingredients (except for honey/syrup). Rub the bag to mix the marinade and evenly coat it over the chicken. Squeeze out the air then seal the bag. Leave to marinate in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight.

Preheat a fan oven (convection oven) at 200°C/390°F (if using a conventional oven, set to 220°C/425°F). Remove the chicken thighs from the bag. Pour about 2 tbsp of the marinade into a small bowl. Add honey then mix well. Set aside.

Use a baking tray with a wire rack that fits inside. Fill the tray with hot water (lower than the rack) and put the chicken thighs on the rack (skin facing up). Place the tray in the middle of the oven.

Leave to roast for 10 mins. Take out and flip over the chicken. Brush some marinade honey mixture then put back into the oven (Make sure there is always enough water in the tray).

Cook for a further 5 mins. Take out the chicken. Flip over again and brush with the honey mixture.

Switch your oven to grilling (broiling) function at the highest temperature. Place the chicken nearer to the top heat element. Leave to cook (with the oven door slightly ajar) for 2-4 mins until the skin becomes golden with some charred spots. Be attentive and check often during this step to avoid burning. If you have a separate grill oven (broiler), remember to preheat beforehand (see note 3).

For the oven version

Put chicken wings into a resealable plastic bag. Add the rest of the ingredients (except for honey/syrup). Rub the bag to mix the marinade and evenly coat it over the chicken. Squeeze out the air then seal the bag. Leave to marinate in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight.

Preheat the air-fryer at 200°C/390°F for 3 mins. Remove the chicken from the bag. Pour about 2 tbsp of the marinade into a small bowl. Add honey then mix well. Set aside.

Place the chicken in a single layer over the crisper tray inside the preheated air fryer. Cook for 4 mins then flip over all the pieces and brush a layer of the marinade honey mixture.

Continue cooking for another 4 mins. Then flip over again and brush with the honey mixture.

Cook for a final 2-3 mins until the chicken browns nicely (see note 3).

Char Siu Chicken/叉烧鸡 (Roasted or Air fried)｜Chinese BBQ Chicken

Pita make the great pizza dough crust for air fryer flatbread pizzas. You&#39;ll also find several other types of par-cooked or pre-cooked flatbreads which are equally great. Air frying time will vary depending on the thickness, type of dough, if there are any sugars added to the dough, and by different air fryer models. Adjust as needed. Toppings may fly off the pizzas, depending on how light they are and how strong your air fryer fan is. Use an air fryer rack to keep the toppings from flying off while air frying the pizzas (see photo in recipe steps).

Air Fryer Pita Pizzas

pita bread

Tablespoons pizza sauce or tomato sauce

shredded cheese

salt (,

black pepper (,

Pepperoni, cooked Sausage, Bacon pieces,

BBQ Sauce, Salsa, White (Alfredo) Sauce, Pesto, etc.

Place pita in Air Fryer

Place the pita in air fryer (if making multiple pita pizzas, make sure it is in just a single layer - cook in batches if needed).  Air Fry at 360°F/182°C for 2 minutes.

Air Fry pita

Flip the pita bread over. Continue to Air fry at 360°F/182°C for another 1-2 minutes (if you want the crust extra crispy - air fry each side a couple minutes more).

Add sauce and toppings

Spread the sauce over the toasted pita bread. Top with cheese and add additional salt, pepper and other preferred toppings.

Add rack

To keep your topping from flying around, place an air fryer rack over the pita pizzas.

Air fry

Air Fry the pizzas at 360°F/182°C for 2-5 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Allow to cool for a couple minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Air Fryer Pita Pizza

This makes a 6-8&quot; personal sized pizza. Raw dough can be a little more challenging than using pre-cooked crust, but can be extra delicious for those willing to try. If you want to use a pre-cooked crust, see our recipe here for Air Fryer Pizza with Pre-Cooked Crusts. Air frying time will vary depending how thick you make the crust, type of dough, if there are any sugars added to the dough, and by different air fryer models. Adjust as needed. Toppings may fly off the pizzas, depending on how light they are and how strong your air fryer fan is. Use an air fryer rack to keep the toppings from flying off while air frying the pizzas (see photo in recipe steps).

Preheat Air Fryer

Preheat Air Fryer at 380°F/193°C for 4-5 minutes.  

Roll out dough

On a lightly floured surface, flatten and stretch the dough to round shape. Make sure dough is not too thin or it will tear, about 1/4-inch thick is best. Dust with a little more flour if needed to keep from sticking.

Poke dough will holes

Spray oil air fryer basket or rack. Lay shaped dough on the basket/rack and poke a few holes in the dough with a fork.

Air Fry pizza crust

Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for about 2-4 minutes. Flip the crust over.

Flip and continue

Continue to Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for another 2-4 minutes until crust is lightly golden. (if you want the crust extra crispy - air fry each side a couple minutes more).

Spread the sauce over the pizza crust. Top with cheese and preferred toppings. Spray top of pizza with light oil spray.

To keep your topping from flying around, place an air fryer rack over the pizza.

Air Fry the pizzas at 380°F/193°C for 3-5 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.

Serve

Remove from the air fryer and allow to cool for a minute or two before eating.

Air Fryer Pizza from Raw Pizza Dough

This air fryer teriyaki salmon bites are the simplest protein to throw with any meal.  Add them to wraps, bowls, or salads. It only takes 6 ingredients and 10 minutes!

Air Fryer Teriyaki Salmon Bites

lb skinless salmon filet

olive oil

soy sauce

tbsp teriyaki sauce

honey (optional)

tsp red pepper flakes

Sesame seeds

onions (sliced)

Preheat the airfryer to 400F. Slice salmon into 2 inch cubes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine salmon, olive oil soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey and red pepper flakes. Gently toss to coat.

Arrange salmon slices in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer. Be careful not to overcrowd the air fryer (you don’t want the pieces touching) as the salmon will not get crispy! Bake for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway way.

10-minutes, vegan, gluten free and high protein, this air fryer breakfast cookie is the perfect balanced breakfast for busy mornings!

Air Fryer Breakfast Cookie

oats (quick, minute

banana (mashed)

tsp baking powder

scoop protein powder (optional see notes below)

tbsp melted coconut oil

tbsp milk (if needed)

cinnamon

chocolate chips

Preheat air fryer to 360°F (or preheat oven to 350°F).

Mix all ingredients except for the chocolate chips/blueberries in a small bowl. *if you find your mixture is too dry, add milk- otherwise it should be fine to leave it out!

Form batter into a round ball and press into a cookie shape in the basket of the prepared air fryer (spray lightly with cooking spray) or on a prepared cookie sheet.

Add chocolate chips or blueberries on top and gently press them into the top of the cookie.

Air fry for about 8-10 minutes (or bake in the oven for 15 minutes)

Enjoy!

So yummy!  Fast and easy to put together in the morning.  I double the recipe to use a full banana and have breakie for the next day too.  Serve with Greek yogurt and walnuts!

I loved this recipe! It was easy and quick to make! It was filling also!

This was fabulous.  I added the protein powder and peanut butter.  I also used raisins as I was out of chocolate chips.  So comforting and filling on a damp dreary day.

I just made two of these this morning for my son and I.  They were so easy to make and equally as delicious.  I topped mine with a little Greek yogurt and some berries.  It was like having dessert for breakfast!  I actually may start making these as a better for you dessert when those cravings get you.  Highly recommend!

I genuinely make this every week… my husband and I love trying variations with different flavors and toppings. Sooooo yum!!
