Guilt-free, raw and healthy chocolate protein balls that take just 5 minutes to prepare and have less than 70 calories per serve.

Double Chocolate Protein Balls

200 g medjool dates (see notes)

2-3 tbs (40-60 grams) honey (or substitute with agave syrup/rice malt syrup)

tsp vanilla extract

tbs (8 grams) cocoa powder (or cacao powder)

almonds

(60 grams) cacao nibs (or substitute with dark chocolate chips)

Place the dates, honey, vanilla extract and cocoa powder into a food processor or Thermomix and blend until the mixture resembles a paste.

Add the almonds and cacao nibs and press pulse/turbo several times, until your desired texture is achieved.

Roll into tablespoon sized balls and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.

(125 milliliters) hot espresso

(60 milliliters) coconut oil, melted

(250 grams) hazelnut meal

(220 grams) bukinis (roasted buckwheat from health food stores)

(60 grams) cacao nibs

(50 grams) cacao,

(35 grams) chocolate protein powder

Protein-rich chocolate peanut butter energy balls are healthy, yet indulgent treats made with just 5 ingredients and are ready in 10 minutes. These chocolate oats peanut balls are quick and easy to make with kids.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls

115 gms (or) 1 cup Oats Flour

155 gms (or) ½ cup Peanut Butter

21 gms (or) ¼ cup Desiccated Coconut

gms (or) 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

gms (or) 3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup (adjust to taste)

Place the oats flour, peanut butter, desiccated coconut, cocoa powder and maple syrup in a bowl. 

Stir until well combined. 

Scoop the mixture out with a spoon and roll it into a ball. 

Place the rolled ball in a lined baking sheet. 

Continue the process with the remaining mixture. 

Refrigerate these chocolate peanut butter energy balls for 1 hour or just until the balls are set.
