Easy Overnight Oats with Yogurt

vanilla Greek Yogurt

honey

tsp pure vanilla extract

milk

oats

sea salt

cinnamon

berries

In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, honey and vanilla. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Add milk and stir until combined.

Add oatmeal, sea salt, and cinnamon and stir until mixture is uniform throughout.

Pour into four 4 oz mason jars, or two 8 oz mason jars and secure the lids.

Place in the refrigerator to chill overnight (or for at least 6 hours).

Serve with fresh berries, a drizzle of nut butter or extra honey.

Simple and delicious overnight oats--6 ways! So simple to make ahead for breakfast and so many ways to whip them up!

6 Simple Overnight Oats Recipes

½ c rolled oats

½ c milk of choice

banana

T chopped pecans or walnuts

vanilla extract

T ground flax (optional)

maple syrup

blueberries

cashew butter (or almond butter)

vanilla

tsp chia seeds

tsp peanut butter (extra to drizzle if desired)

peanut butter

T chocolate chips (I love mini chips!)

4-5 strawberries, sliced or chopped

tsp cream (half & half or heavy cream)

T shredded coconut, unsweetened

T sliced almonds

T chocolate chips

Combine base ingredients plus all ingredients for desired flavor in a bowl or jar that can be sealed and stir well.

Refrigerate overnight.

Add an extra splash of milk if needed before serving. Serve hot or cold.

For All Recipes:

A healthy make-ahead breakfast of raw rolled oats and chia seeds soaked in milk, yogurt, honey, and vanilla, and served with your favorite toppings.

HEALTHY OVERNIGHT OATS

Coconut shavings, (for garnish, optional)

Add oats, milk, yogurt, salt, and honey to a glass container, glass jar, or a cereal bowl.

Stir in chia seeds, vanilla (and dissolving mix-ins such as cocoa powder, if using).

You can also stir in Nutella or peanut butter, or wait to add those right before serving. However, If using berries, nuts, and other toppings that will get soggy, don’t add them until the next day, right before serving.

Cover the oats and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

Uncover; if oatmeal is too thick, thin out with more milk.

Top with fruits, nuts, coconut shavings, etc…

Serve.

Add ½ cup fresh berries right before serving, and top with chopped nuts, if desired.

Berry Oatmeal Variation

Stir in 2 teaspoons cocoa powder.

Chocolate Oatmeal Variation

Stir in 1 tablespoon smooth natural peanut butter right before serving.

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Variation

Stir in 1 tablespoon Nutella right before serving.

Nutella Oatmeal Variation

Just before serving, stir a pinch of cinnamon into the oats, and top with sliced or chopped banana and chopped pecans or walnuts.

Banana Bread Oatmeal Variation

This easy Instant Pot Steel Cut Oats recipe makes perfectly creamy oatmeal every time. It&#039;s a healthy and delicious gluten-free breakfast that comes together in less than 30 minutes! 

Instant Pot Steel Cut Oats

Toppings of your choice: berries (chia seeds, nut butter, splash of milk)

To avoid sticking, lightly coat the inner pot of your Instant Pot with coconut oil or cooking spray.

Add oats into the Instant Pot followed by milk.

Secure the lid and close the vent.

Press the MANUAL (or PRESSURE COOKER for newer Instant Pot models) button and set to 4 minutes.

After the oats finish cooking, allow the pressure to release naturally (about 10-15 minutes).

After the pressure releases, open the lid and give the oatmeal a good stir. Any extra liquid will absorb as it cools.

Add cinnamon, sweetener or other additions you like.

Top oatmeal with fresh fruit, nut butter, a splash of milk, or any other toppings you like.

I use 2 cups of Steel Cut Oats and 5 cups of milk or water and set the cook time to 5 minutes. I do NOT recommend making a larger batch at once, as it caused the outer parts to burn when I tried.

To Double the Recipe

Grease the inner pot as usual.

Add 3 cups of rolled oats, 5 1/2 cups of water and set for 4 minutes on HIGH Pressure.

Release steam naturally for 15 minutes after it&#039;s done.

Stir. Add sweeteners, flavorings, toppings and enjoy!

How To Make Instant Pot Steel Cut Oats

6 incredibly healthy overnight oats recipes for an easy breakfast that you can make ahead of time. Perfect for meal prep to &quot;grab and go&quot; on a busy morning.

Overnight Oats

berries ((strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.))

instant coffee

walnuts,

greek yogurt ((or coconut yogurt

raw cacao nibs ((or chocolate chips))

Place the rolled oats and chia seeds in an 8oz glass jar or container and stir with a spoon.

Add the sweetener of your choice (if required) and the milk, and mix well.

Cover the container with a lid or wrap and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours (but overnight gives a better texture).

The next day, open the container and add your desired toppings (see options below). 

BASE RECIPE

For this berry version, make sure to add honey to the base recipe the night before. I prefer to use oat milk, but you can use any milk you like.

The next day, add the berries on top. If you want to eat this warm, make sure you add the berries after warming the oats.

DELICIOUS BERRY OVERNIGHT OATS

Add the instant coffee with the rolled oats and chia seeds and mix well, before adding the maple syrup and the liquid (almond milk is what we prefer).Instead of instant coffee, you can add a shot of espresso and a bit less milk.

The next day, top with greek yogurt and walnuts.

COFFEE &amp; WALNUT OVERNIGHT OATS

Add the cinnamon with the rolled oats and chia seeds and mix well, before adding the maple syrup and milk of your choice.

If you plan to warm this up and would like more of an apple pie taste, add the apples on top of the oats as soon as you take them out of the fridge.

Warm oats and apples in the microwave for 45-60 seconds. I don&#x27;t normally recommend heating up the fruit, but warm apples are delicious!

APPLE PIE OVERNIGHT OATS

Add the cocoa powder with the rolled oats and chia seeds and mix well, before adding the maple syrup and milk of your choice.

The next day, top it with some Nutella (use my recipe for a vegan, healthy option), coconut yogurt, some crunchy toasted hazelnuts, and cacao nibs.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE OVERNIGHT OATS

Mix the base recipe.

The next day, top with peanut butter, nuts, and raw cacao nibs. If you want, add some fresh fruits as well.

PEANUT BUTTER OVERNIGHT OATS

Mix the base recipe. For optimum &quot;piña colada&quot; taste, make sure to use coconut milk. If you are not planning to warm this up, add 1 tablespoon of coconut yogurt to the base recipe before putting it in the fridge. This will create a creamier end result.

The next day, top with mango slices, banana slices, the remaining coconut yogurt, and some coconut flakes.

TROPICAL &quot;VIRGIN PINA COLADA&quot; OVERNIGHT OATS

Easy banana overnight oats with chia seeds (vegan and gluten-free) are a healthy and easy meal prep breakfast to take on the go.

Easy Banana Overnight Oats (Vegan, Gluten-Free)

bananas (ripe)

quick rolled oats (gluten free)

tbsp chia seeds

tsp cinnamon

tsp vanilla extract

Almond butter

Raspberries

whipped cream

Bare Snacks dried fruit chips

Ashwagandha powder

Astragalus powder

In a large bowl, mash together ripe bananas with a fork until creamy and most of the lumps are gone.

Stir in gluten-free oats, chia seeds, almond milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. Cover and set in the refrigerator overnight (or a minimum of 3 hours).

To serve, dish into bowls or jars. Top with almond butter, cream, fruit, dried fruit chips, or any other favorite toppings of your choice. Optional: add in jam to the bottom of the jar for more sweet flavor.

A simple and delicious vegan breakfast that takes less than 5 minutes to make!

Tiramisu Overnight Oats

Combine all listed ingredients apart from the yogurt and cocoa powder in a container, and refrigerate overnight.

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into 3 separate containers, and store overnight to thicken. 

When ready to serve, top with graham cracker crumbs and vegan whipped cream or yogurt, as desired.

Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Rolled Oats

tsp Chia Seeds

tsp Vanilla Flavoring

Almond Milk (or milk of choice)

Vanilla Greek Yogurt

tbsp Creamy Almond Butter

Apples, diced, divided

Honey

tbsp Pecans, chopped

In a bowl, mix the diced apples with half the cinnamon and half the honey. Set to the side.

In a larger bowl, stir together the oats, chia seeds, remaining cinnamon &amp; honey, almond milk, yogurt, almond butter, and vanilla. Also, add in 3/4 of the apple mixture.

This can either be one large serving or 2 smaller servings. Add this mixture to your desired container. I like to use mason jars.

Place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight. Either add the remaining apples and pecans to the container before refrigerating or you can top it off once you are about to enjoy the oats. That is up to you! This stays well for up to 3 days.

As someone who doesn’t really enjoy oats, this was amazing! All the flavors just worked so well. I’m definitely going to be making this again and again.
