Egg salad tucked between slices of white bread, Japanese egg sandwich (Tamago Sando) is a grab-and-go snack you can find in every convenience store in Japan. The filling is creamy and bursting with a rich egg yolk flavor and the bread is soft and pillowy.&nbsp;

Japanese Egg Sandwich (Tamago Sando)

eggs (50 g each w/o shell)

Shokupan (Japanese pullman loaf bread)

salted butter

sugar

salt

black pepper

tsp milk

Tbsp mayonnaise

Gather all the ingredients.

Put the eggs in a medium saucepan and pour water till it covers the eggs. Bring it to boil on medium heat and once boiling, cook for 12 minutes.

Once finish cooking, transfer the eggs to iced water to stop cooking. Let cool completely and peel the egg shells.

Transfer the peeled eggs in a bowl and mash with a fork. Try to mash egg whites into small, same-size pieces.

Add ¼ tsp sugar and ¼ tsp salt.

Add freshly ground black pepper and 2 tsp milk. Taste and add more salt and pepper if needed.

Add 2 Tbsp mayonnaise and mix very well.

To Make Egg Salad

Spread the butter on both sides of bread and evenly distribute the egg salad on one side of the bread.

Put the other slice of bread on top and place the sandwich between two plates. Set aside for 5 minutes.

Cut all&nbsp;sides of crusts off the bread.

Cut the sandwich in half and ready to serve.

lettuce leaves

Havarti (or another sliced cheese you like)

Assemble the sandwich by placing the egg on the bread, then the tomato, then scallion.

Top with salt and pepper and spread mayonnaise on the top of the bread.

Easy peasy, this delicious egg sandwich (my favorite!) is perfect for breakfast or lunch!

Take tea with these dainty and delicious finger sandwiches!&nbsp;

English Tea Sandwiches

cucumber (large)

oz cream cheese (softened)

lemon zest

dill (chopped)

potato bread

oz cream cheese

pumpernickel bread

eggs (hard boiled)

butter (softened)

paprika

chicken breasts (boneless)

thyme

olive oil

cranberries

watercress

dijon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Season chicken breasts with olive oil, salt and thyme. Bake for about 30 minutes. Let cool, rip cooked chicken into roughly 1 ½ inch pieces.

Halve the cranberries and smash in a bowl. This step is messy!

In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise and dijon mustard.

Combine cranberries, chicken, mayonnaise mixture until incorporated.

Butter sliced white bread bread. Add chicken mixture and a layer of watercress. Cut off the crusts and slice into rectangles.

For the Cranberry Chicken Sandwich:

Chop dill. Combine with softened cream cheese, lemon zest and a pinch of salt. (This mixture will be used again).

Cut paper thin slices of cucumber.

Spread cream cheese mixture onto white bread and add cucumbers slices. Cut off crusts, then cut rectangles.

For the Cucumber Dill Sandwich:

Spread the same cream cheese mixture from the cucumber dill sandwiches on to pumpernickel bread.

Add a layer of cucumbers, then salmon.

Cut a circle out of the sandwich.

Transfer some of the cream cheese mixture to a piping bag and pipe a dollop. Add a dill sprig for garnish.

For the Salmon Sandwich:

In a bowl, mash hard boiled eggs.

Chop watercress

Add butter, mayonnaise, paprika and watercress to a bowl. Mix until combined.

Butter bread slices. Add egg mixture.

Cut off crusts. Cut rectangles.

How to Make Tea Sandwiches

This Korean egg drop sandwich or scrambled egg sandwich is made with soft, fluffy eggs, buttered toast, ham, and cheese for a delicious breakfast egg sandwich!

Korean Egg Drop Sandwich | Scrambled Egg Sandwich

eggs

bread (thick slices of brioche, white, French,

ham (substitute bacon)

cheese (cheddar, Swiss, American, provolone)

½ Tablespoons heavy cream (substitute with milk

½ Tablespoons butter

tsp sea salt

parsley or chives (for garnish)

avocado ((optional))

½ Tablespoon sriracha (substitute with ketchup)

½ Tablespoon mayo

Tablespoons mayo

Tablespoon sweetened condensed milk (see Note 1 for substitution)

Make sauces

Make sauces: Mix together the ingredients for the sriracha mayo sauce and the sweet mayo sauce. Set aside.

Toast bread

Toast bread: Heat a pan over medium heat and add half the butter. Toast both sides of the bread until golden brown. Remove from pan. Alternatively, use a toaster and butter both sides when done.

Fry ham or bacon

Pan Fry ham: Fry ham or bacon on medium high heat until crisp and set aside.

Mix eggs

Mix eggs: Crack eggs in a bowl and add heavy cream and salt. Mix together until well combined.

Cook eggs

Cook eggs: Heat pan over medium low heat and add remaining butter and egg mixture.Gently move the eggs back and forth using a spatula until it starts to set. Turn off the heat and set aside. See Note 2.

Scramble Eggs

Assemble sandwich

Spread the sriracha mayo sauce on the inside of the bread then add the cheese, scrambled eggs, then ham in that order. The hot scrambled eggs will melt the cheese.

Add toppings

Toppings: Drizzle the sweet mayo sauce on top and sprinkle with parsley or chives. Add optional avocado slices on top.

Add this to your 5 minute recipes! This pesto-slathered healthy breakfast sandwich can be whipped up in minutes and offers a delicious spin on breakfast.

5 Minute Pesto Breakfast Sandwich

multi-grain English muffin

high-quality basil pesto, purchased or

baby arugula (or other baby greens)

Kosher salt

Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Crack the egg into the pan and sprinkle with a few pinches kosher salt. When the whites are mostly cooked after a minute or two, flip and cook another 30 seconds, then remove from the heat.

Meanwhile, toast the English muffin. Spread both sides generously with pesto. When the egg is done, slide it onto one half of the English muffin.

Add a handful of arugula to the still hot pan and return to medium heat; add a pinch of kosher salt and cook for a few seconds until wilted down. Remove from the heat and place the arugula on top of the egg.

Top the sandwich with the other half of the English muffin and serve immediately.

This is a really awesome recipe for picky kids. I threw on some provolone cheese and used a bagel for my buns. Really customizable and really tasty.

Gather all the ingredients. Make a hard boiled egg on the previous day to save time in the morning.

In a small bowl, mash the boiled egg with a fork.

Add 1 Tbsp of mayonnaise and mix well. If it&#039;s not moist, you can add ½ Tbsp more.

Season with salt and pepper (and sugar if you like). I like to add salt and pepper a bit more than what I usually add to give good flavor.

Spread the egg mixture on top a piece of bread and put another slice of bread on top.

[Optional] Cut off the edges of the bread. Japanese sandwiches usually don’t have edges.

Cut the sandwich into 2-3 parts depending on the bento box size.

Pack the sandwich in bento box and put some fruits and vegetables in the empty space.

Japanese Tamago Sando. A delicious creamy egg salad sandwich popularly found in convenience stores within Japan. This soft brioche egg salad sandwich is velvety and fluffy all through out. Easy to make with just minimal ingredients.

Creamy Japanese Tamago Sando

tsp salt

tsp white granulated sugar

tsp black pepper

Japanese mayo

parsley (optional)

mini brioche buns

tbsp white vinegar (to make peeling easier)

salt (to prevent egg leakage (if cracked) while boiling)

Bring pot of water to boil. Optionally but recommended, add salt and vinegar to prevent egg leakage from possible cracked eggs and vinegar to make peeling easier.

Boil your eggs for 13 minutes covered (not shown in video). Once boiled, transfer to an ice bathe. Crack and peel them.

Carefully run a sharp knife around the yolk to gently separate egg yolks from the whites. Transfer whites into another bowl.

Run yolks through a fine sieve set over a mixing bowl. Use the back of a spatula or spoon to push the egg through the sieve until your egg yolks are finely grated. Make sure to scrape the back of the sieve for more egg yolk.

Finely dice egg whites.

Combine egg yolks and whites. Season with salt, black pepper, sugar and Japanese mayo.

Mix with a spatula until creamy.

Cut your brioche buns into half about 90% of the way. Spoon your egg salad into the bun. Garnish with dried parsley.

Soft scrambled eggs, fontina cheese, and basil pesto all sandwiched together between two slices of sourdough bread, then pan cooked and finished off with a drizzle of sweet honey.&nbsp;

1. Whisk together the eggs and a pinch of salt in a medium bowl.2. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the eggs and cook, undisturbed, until a thin layer of cooked egg appears around the edge of the skillet. Using a rubber spatula gently push/move the eggs around the skillet until fluffy and barely set, about 2 minutes. Immediately remove from the skillet and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes.&nbsp;3.&nbsp;Spread the outside of each slice of bread with butter. On the inside of half of the slices of bread, evenly layer the cheeses, eggs, and pesto. Add the top piece of bread, buttered side facing up.3. Place the sandwiches, one at a time, in the skillet and cook until golden on each side, about 4-5 minutes per side.&nbsp;Serve topped with chives, honey, and sea salt.&nbsp;
