Many Asian style recipes require high carb sauces in their ingredients to get that authentic restaurant taste. We created our version of one of those - Low Carb Hoisin Sauce, it’s not identical but it’s as close as we can get while keeping it Keto.

Low Carb Hoisin Sauce

tamari

natural peanut butter (smooth)

rice wine vinegar

garlic

sesame oil

frank's hot sauce

Pepper

chinese five spice

Sugar Free Maple Syrup

xanthum gum

Place all ingredients into a blender.

Blend for 3 minutes, until ingredients are well combined and the sauce has thickened.

Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

Our Low Carb Enchilada Sauce is much higher in fat than supermarket sauces, and much tastier. It is a mild sauce, perfect for children, and easily made hotter by adding additional Cayenne or fresh chilies.

Keto Enchilada Sauce - Low Carb & Mildly Spicy

Salted Butter

Cumin (ground)

Oregano

Coriander (ground)

Onion Powder

Cayenne Pepper (ground)

Erythritol

Tomato Puree (also called Passata)

Salt

Pepper (ground)

Place the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add all ingredients except the tomato puree and saute for 3 minutes, or until fragrant.

Add the tomato puree and stir well.

Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes to infuse the spices. Add a little water if you like your sauce to be thinner and adjust the seasoning to your taste.

Use straight away or cool for 30 minutes before pouring into a heatproof jar and storing in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

12 ounces of Tomato Puree – the tomato puree (also called passata) that we use contains only tomatoes and salt.

Easy Keto Enchilada Sauce Recipe - Low-Carb, No Added Sugar & Super Tasty (2g Carbs)

Marinara Sauces at the store are often filled with sugar, additives and thickeners, our Low Carb Marinara Sauce has none of those ingredients. But it does have plenty of flavor!

Best Keto Marinara Sauce - Spaghetti, Pizza etc

Olive Oil

Garlic (finely grated)

Onion Flakes

Thyme (finely chopped)

Oregano (finely chopped)

Tomato Puree

Red Wine Vinegar

Parsley (finely chopped)

In a saucepan, place the oil, garlic, onion flakes, thyme and oregano. Saute over medium heat for 3 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the erythritol, pepper, salt and red wine vinegar and bring to a simmer.

Turn off the heat and stir through the parsley

Cool the sauce and store in an airtight jar in the fridge.

Keto Pizza Sauce Recipe - Easy Low Carb Marinara - Great with Pasta, Meat & Veges Also (2g Carbs)

You’ll want to put this Creamy Keto Mushroom Sauce on just about everything! It’s rich and perfect, poured over a thick grilled rib eye steak.

Keto Mushroom Sauce

butter

garlic (crushed)

onion (thinly sliced)

salt

pepper (ground)

mushrooms (thinly sliced)

worcestershire sauce

dijon mustard

heavy cream

tarragon (finely chopped)

Place a saucepan over high heat, add the butter, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper and saute until the onions start to turn translucent.

Add the mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes before dropping the heat to low.

Add the Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, and cream. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Stir through the tarragon and serve.

Rich and buttery, Bearnaise Sauce is perfect for the keto diet and to top a juicy steak. The sauce takes a little extra time to cook, but it’s well worth the effort!

Keto Bearnaise Sauce Homemade

white wine vinegar

peppercorns

onion (diced)

unsalted butter

Place a small saucepan over medium heat, add the vinegar, wine, peppercorns, and onion. Reduce until 2-3 tablespoons of liquid remain.&nbsp;

Strain out the onion and peppercorns and pour the liquid into a heatproof bowl. Add the egg yolks.

Melt the butter until the milk fat (white liquid) has separated from the yellow butter. Set aside.

Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and start whisking.

Continue to whisk until the mixture is thick and foamy and creates thick ribbons when the whisk is lifted.

Remove the bowl from the heat and slowly pour in the hot butter while whisking, ensuring that the milk fat is left behind. This step is similar to making mayonnaise - if you add the butter too quickly the sauce will split.

Whisk in the salt, pepper, and tarragon.

Serve immediately or keep warm until needed.

This killer Mushroom Ragu recipe is a hearty, savory, robust Italian comfort dish and completely vegetarian! To achieve the richest and earthy mushroom taste, fragrant aromatics like onions and fresh thyme cook in a porcini-infused stock.

Mushroom Ragu: Lidia's Ragu di Funghi Misti

mushrooms

porcini (soaked in 1 1/1 cups warm water)

thyme

rosemary

sage

olive oil (extra-virgin)

tbsp butter

shallots (finely chopped)

onion (finely chopped (about 1 cup))

(plus

tomato paste

dry Marsala (or other dry red wine)

black pepper

Squeeze out the soaked porcini and slice them into pieces about ¼-inch wide. Strain the soaking water and keep it in a warm spot.

Clean, trim and slice the fresh mushrooms into moderately thin slices, barely ¼-inch wide.

Tie all the fresh herb sprigs together with piece of kitchen twine or enclose the leaves in cheesecloth.

Prepping the Ingredients

Put the oil and butter in the big skillet (or other saucepan) and place over medium heat. When the butter melts, dump in the onions and shallots and ¼ teaspoon of salt and stir well. Heat the onions to a slow sizzle and cook for 6 minutes or more-stirring often-until they&#39;re soft, wilted and shiny, without any browning.

Pour all the mushrooms into the pan-both the chopped porcini and sliced mushrooms-spread and toss them in the pan. Sprinkle another ¼ teaspoon salt, drop in the herb bouquet, toss briefly, raise the heat a bit and cover the pan. Cook covered for about 3 minutes-shake the pan now and then- to sweat the mushrooms.

Uncover and continue to cook over fairly high heat, stirring frequently, as the mushrooms shrink and the liquid evaporates, 5 minutes or more. When the pan is dry and the mushrooms begin to brown, clear a hot spot, drop in the tomato paste and toast it, stirring, for a minute or so, then stir it into the mushrooms.

When everything is sizzling and browning again, and just starting to stick, pour the Marsala all over. Stir constantly as the wine thickens and evaporates. When the mushrooms again start sticking to the bottom, pour in the warm mushroom water and 2 cups of the hot stock. Bring to an active boil, stirring up any caramelization on the pan bottom. Lower the heat to keep the sauce bubbling gently all over the surface and cover the pan. Cook for about 20 minutes, occasionally stirring and adding stock to keep the mushrooms nearly covered in liquid; expect to add ½ cup or so. Adjust the heat to keep the perking steady but not too rapid.

Uncover the pan and cook for another 20 minutes, maintaining the simmer and adding stock as needed. When mushrooms are thoroughly tender and the saucy liquid thickened-but not too condensed-the sauce is done. Remove the herb bouquet and discard it (after you scrape off all the good sauce). Taste and add salt, if needed, and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Use the sauce immediately or let it cool. Store it in the refrigerator for a week or freeze, for use within several months.
