Grilled lamb loin chops seasoned with Za'atar, a Mediterranean blend of sumac, thyme, sesame and salt.

Za’atar Lamb Chops

lamb loin chops (trimmed (about 3.5 oz each bone-in))

garlic (crushed)

olive oil

lemon

salt

tbsp Za’atar

pepper (to taste)

Rub the lamb chops with oil and garlic.

Squeeze the lemon over both sides, than season with salt, zatar and black pepper.

Grill on an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan over medium-high heat to desired liking, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side or broil in the oven on the top rack, 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

Grill or Broil Method:

Preheat the air fryer to 400F. In batches in an even layer, cook to desired liking, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side.

*My chops had 2 1/2 oz raw meat on each bone, nutritional info is based off of that.

Air Fryer Method:

This marinade is easy and delicious and can be used on salmon as well as lamb. This is so easy to make and cooks fast, so in no time, you&#039;ll have an elegant, savory, yummy, high vibe meal.

Grilled Lamb Loin Chops

lamb loin chops (excess fat removed)

garlic

tsp salt

½ tsp ground black pepper

rosemary

Combine all marinade ingredients in a measuring cup, mixing thoroughly

Spoon marinade over lamb chops and make sure they are covered on all sides

Marinade in refrigerator for 1 hour up to overnight

Remove them from fridge and let them sit at room temp for 15 minutes while you prepare the grill

Grill them over direct medium heat for about 6 minutes a side for medium. Remove at 140°

The Easiest Tasty Grilled Lamb Chops. Rosemary Garlic Lamb Loin Chops

Super tender grilled lamb chops that have been marinated in Mediterranean spices, garlic, and lemon juice. Serve them with tomato mint quinoa included in this recipe and a little Tztaziki sauce or see other ideas below!

Mediterranean Grilled Lamb Chop Recipe with Tomato Mint Quinoa

garlic paste (or finely minced garlic)

allspice

tsp ground green cardamom

nutmeg

tsp sweet paprika

tsp black pepper

mint leaves

Olive oil

lemon, juice of

dry quinoa,

water

garlic cloves, chopped

14.5 oz can petit tomato diced

Salt and pepper

mint

red onion

feta cheese

In a small bowl combine the garlic and spices with 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves and 2 tbsp of olive oil. This makes a rub for the lamb.

Take the lamb chops and rub them each on both sides with the garlic-spice rub. Place the chops in a deep dish with 2 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice and onions. Cover and leave in the fridge for 1 to 4 hours.

20 to 25 minutes before grilling, remove the lamb chops from the fridge and let them rest at room temperature.

Meanwhile, cook the quinoa according to package instructions, adding a dash of salt and olive oil to the cooking water. (For 1 cup of quinoa, you'll add 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce heat to medium low and simmer until water is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.)

Now let's add flavor to the cooked quinoa! In a non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Stir in garlic and cook very briefly and then add the canned diced tomato. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Now, stir in the cooked quinoa. Once warmed through, add the chopped fresh mint. Stir to combine and remove from heat. Off heat, add chopped red onions, feta cheese and more fresh mint leaves for garnish

Time to grill the lamb chops! Heat an a gas grill (or an indoor grill pan) over high heat (make sure the grill is super hot) add the lamb chops and grill for about 2 minutes. Flip the chops over and cook for another 3 minutes for medium-rare or 3 1/2 minutes for medium (internal temperature should register 125 degrees F for medium-rare or 135 degrees F for medium). Let the chops rest for 10 minutes before serving.

When ready to serve, transfer the tomato mint quinoa to serving bowls, top with 2 lamb chops per person. Enjoy!

Combine the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, lemon juice, lemon zest and salt & pepper in a small bowl.

Lamb Chops with Peanut Sauce

These mediterranean lamb chops are so juicy and flavorful with notes of oregano, garlic, and lemon in each bite.

Mediterranean Lamb Chops

Lamb Chops, patted dry

Salt & Pepper to preference

tbsp Garlic Powder

Lemon Pepper

tbsp Olive oil

A lemon's juice

Garlic cloves, minced

tbsp Dried Oregano

tbsp Avocado oil oil lamb

Season each lamb chop on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder,  and lemon pepper.

Create the wet marinade by mixing together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and oregano.

Place the lamb chops in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade into the bag making sure to rub each chop with the marinade.

Seal the bag and let this marinate for at least 4 hours but for best results overnight.

Take the lamb chops out 30 min prior to cooking to allow the muscles in the meat to relax and therefore create a more tender bite once cooked.

Heat a nonstick pan and add the avocado or grape seed oil to the pan.

Once the pan is hot, add the lamb chops but make sure not to overcrowd the pan. Press down with a spatula for a few seconds to get a nice sear on the lamb chop. Let this cook for about 5 minutes each side or to your liking on doneness. You should achieve a gorgeous sear on both sides and a juicy lamb chop!

Pair with your favorite sides like potatoes and/or salad for a complete meal!

If you’re looking to impress guests at dinner, then you absolutely need to make these Grilled Greek Style Lamb Chops. Marinated in lemon, oregano, and loads of garlic, these lamb chops reach the ultimate level of flavor, and will make you look like a rockstar.Serves 6 - 8Recipe can be halved.

Grilled Greek Style Lamb Chops

lemon (minced, optional)

oregano (preferably Greek*)

parsley

garlic (finely chopped)

salt (I use

Pat the lamb chops until they’re dry. I like a thicker chop so I slice them thick into 4 chops. If you want to slice them thinner, simply slice into 8 chops.

Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl.

Place the chops into a zip top bag and pour in the marinade. Note: I like to reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade for pouring over the cooked chops. The freshness of the marinade takes these over the top.

Remove all the air and close the top. I squeeze the bag  to get the marinade into the meat. You can marinate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight in the fridge. Flip the bag over here and there to make sure it gets an even coating. Remove from fridge and allow to come to room temp - about 30 minutes - before continuing.

While meat is coming to room temperature, heat the grill to medium high.

Grill the lamb chops for about 3 - 4 minutes per side if you have a thinner chop or 6 - 8 minutes for a thicker one. You can cook them to your liking. I prefer them medium well.

Transfer onto a platter and let them sit (if you can) for a few minutes before devouring. Pour reserved marinade over the chops and enjoy.

Garlic Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops

Cut the lamb chops. Slice the rack of lamb into individual chops.

Make the marinade. In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Marinate the lamb chops. Place the lamb chops in a baking dish, pour the marinade on top and make sure both sides are well coated. Marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge.

Grill the lamb chops. Heat an outdoor grill or indoor grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the lamb chops on the grill for approximately 3 minutes each side, or until an instant-read thermometer reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare. Let the chops rest for a few minutes, then enjoy. You can also serve them with my mint apple sauce for a great mint jelly alternative.

Made this two days ago with Costco’s boneless lamb leg instead of the frenched rack, so we’ve been eating leftovers - happily!
