This decadent bake from Paul Hollywood combines slightly sweet French bread with a creamy ham and cheese filling

Brie Wrapped In Prosciutto & Brioche

strong white bread flour

caster sugar

sachet fast-action dried yeast

milk

eggs, eggs

unsalted butter, softened

round brie

prosciutto

Brie wrapped in prosciutto & brioche

Mix the flour, 1 tsp salt, caster sugar, yeast, milk and eggs together in a mixer using the dough attachment for 5 mins until the dough is smooth. Add the butter and mix for a further 4 mins on medium speed. Scrape the dough bowl and mix again for 1 min. Place the dough in a container, cover with cling film and leave in the fridge for at least 6 hrs before using.

Wrap the brie in the prosciutto and set aside. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 25cm circle. Place the wrapped brie in the middle of the circle and fold the edges in neatly. Put the parcel onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment and brush with beaten egg. Chill in the fridge for 30 mins, then brush again with beaten egg and chill for a further 30 mins. Leave to rise for 1 hr at room temperature. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6, then bake for 22 mins. Serve warm.

Very Thin white bread

Swiss cheese

Black Forest ham

mayonnaise

mustard

microgreen leaves

cornichons

Cut circles out of the ham and cheese.With a round cookie cutter, cut circles out of the ham and cheese. Cut out 8 circles of ham and 8 circles of cheese.

Cut circles out of the bread.Avoid the cutting the crust. Cut 12 circles out of the bread.

Assemble the tea sandwich. This is the order from the bottom up: Bread, mayo, ham, mustard, cheese, mayo, bread, mayo, ham, mustard, cheese, mayo, bread. 

Add microgreen leaf and skewer with a cocktail fork.

Easy Ham & Cheese Sandwiches

Ham and Cheese Sandwiches with Bacon, Pineapple Caramelized Onions + Jerk BBQ Sauce.

onion (thinly sliced)

onions

butter (divided)

pineapple juice

pineapple (diced)

dijon mustard

BBQ Sauce

soy sauce

spicy curry powder (depending

cinnamon

jalapeno (seeded + chopped)

To make the BBQ sauce, combine the BBQ sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, spicy curry powder, cinnamon and jalapeno, mix well and keep in the fridge until ready to use or up to two weeks.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon butter. Add the onions and cook about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until softened. At this point you want to slowly add the pineapple chunks and the pineapple juice, a little at a time, letting everything cook into the onions, slowly adding more until until you have added all the pineapple chunks and juice. Cook until the onions are caramelized to your liking and the pineapple juice has evaporated. Remove from the heat.

Melt the remaining butter over the stove and then whisk in the mustard and worcestershire,

Line a cookie sheet or 9x13 inch baking dish with tin foil. Place the bottom half of the rolls on the foil and brush each half with the melted butter. Add the ham, if desired drizzle the BBQ sauce over the ham. Now add the onions and then the swiss cheese and bacon. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese. Brush the tops of the rolls with butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Now place another piece of foil over the sandwiches and seal the two pieces of foil together.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Remove the foil and serve warm with BBQ sauce for dipping.

Swiss Cheese

honey

Dijon mustard

poppyseed dressing

preheat oven to 350 F

in a separate bowl, combine the Dijon and honey and stir until smooth

place the bottoms of the 9 rolls in a lightly sprayed baking dish

brush each roll with honey Dijon

top each with a slice of ham and then a slice of cheese

brush the inside of each top half of roll with more honey Dijon and place on top of each sandwich

liberally brush the outside of each top with poppyseed dressing.

cover with foil and cook for 15-18 minutes or until cheese is melty

broil for 4 minutes or until rolls are slightly browned/crisped (watch carefully, each oven is different and it is SO easy to burn things in the broiler!)

serve immediately

(12 oz) can evaporated milk (can use 1 1/2 cups “regular” milk

salt

black pepper

(28 oz) bag Frozen Potatoes O’Brien w/ Onions & Peppers (keep frozen)

mozzarella cheese

(8 oz) bag shredded cheddar cheese

parmesan cheese

Cilantro

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.

In a large bowl whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

In another VERY large bowl, mix together frozen potatoes (break up any clumps), ham, and the three cheeses.

Pour egg mixture over potato mixture and stir to combine.

Pour mixture into prepared pan.

Bake, uncovered, for about 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes, or until bubbling and the eggs have set and the potatoes are tender.

Remove from oven and let rest for about 5-10 minutes.

Top with cilantro and green onions, if desired, serve and enjoy!

Delicious! My family was impressed. Every oven is different and I had to bake mine longer. We had no swiss so i used cheddar. The dijon.fresh parsley .Cheddar cheese and buttery flavors were great.

I made this recipe and my family loved it. Thinking about making it tonight. I didn't use Swiss cheese or the poppy seeds. I didn't have any problems with it being soggy though.

Way too many adjustments needed. Too much ham, too much cheese, too much butter, not enough baking time. Waste of time and expensive ingredients.

I read what several other said about these being soggy so I only used 6 slices of cheese (1-1/2 slices per roll), 3 super thin slices Virginia ham per roll and very little butter/garlic mixture. I also cut each roll into 4.  Baked on a 9 x 13 baking sheet with space between each.  They turned out just fine.  Would make them again if my family likes them.

I cooked them for 20 minutes and they never got crispy mmm mushy just how NO ONE LIKES THEM

I made these today and left out the dijon mustard and only added parsley and poppy seeds to some of the rolls since I have a very picky 11 year old. I also noticed that they were not ready at 15 mins. So I left them in for about 15 more mins. and that did the trick. I did leave a small space in between the rolls, they were pretty tasty.

What would be the best way to reheat refrigerated leftovers? I don't like using the microwave to reheat ham. It dries out. 

Should I pop them back in the oven at the same temp. they baked in for a few minutes?

Just made these last night, shared with a neighbor......wonderful.....but didn't use poppy seeds, and used TWO cookie sheets, so they were spread out better, came out really crisp. Will make these again!! HINT: use quality swiss and ham

Hi it’s delicious looking and I’m going to try it and I hope it taste real good with a glass of wine with a bunch of friends in the afternoon between lunch and shopping and getting together and enjoying the day Irene

These were tasty, but 350 degrees won’t bake them in 12-15 minutes. I had to leave them in the oven for several minutes longer in order for them to get golden and not mushy. I will try 375 next time. Flavor was great, but I agree with previous reviews that you don’t need 4 T. butter. Could easily get by with 2. I’m giving them 4 stars because of the wrong baking temp.

Leftover Ham and Cheese Breakfast Muffins

olive oil

onion

red bell pepper (chopped)

green bell pepper (chopped)

hash brown potatoes (cubed (1 bag))

leftover ham (chopped)

½ teaspoon pepper (ground)

hot sauce

cheddar cheese (shredded)

Preheat the oven to 375 F degrees. Spray a 12 cup muffin pan with cooking spray.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for about 2 minutes until it starts to soften.

Add the chopped bell peppers, hash brown potatoes and season with pepper. Stir everything together and cook for about 5 minutes until the potatoes start to brown.

Add the ham and cook for another minute until the ham heats through. Transfer this mixture to a large bowl and let it cool for about 5 minutes.

In a smaller bowl whisk the eggs, milk and hot sauce together. Pour this mixture over the ham mixture. Add the shredded cheese and stir everything together.

Using an ice cream scoop fill each muffin tin with the egg and ham mixture. You can fill all the way to the top, and you should have enough for 12 muffins.

Place the muffin pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until set and the muffins start to get golden on the top.

Let the muffins cool for a couple minutes in the muffin pan before transferring to a cooling rack.

Easy Asparagus Keto Quiche

Pieces of Green Asparagus

Eggs

Yogurt

Parsley

Camembert Cheese

(2 Cups) Shredded Mozzarella

(1 Cup) Almond Meal or flour

Tablespoon (5 grams) Garlic Powder

Prepare fathead dough

Place a pot on the stove and switch on the medium heat

Add Mozzarella

Once the pot is heated, add shredded mozzarella and let it melt completely using spatula to mix from time to time

Add Almonds

When mozzarella has melted fully (check video), add almond meal and garlic powder and knead with spatula until both gets properly incorporated

Add Egg

After you are satisfied with the dough, switch the heat off completely and add egg.

Workout the dough

Knead the egg into the dough to incorporate it fully with spatula

Prepare filling

Mix Eggs, Yogurt and Parsley with a hand held mixer in a bowl.

Add asparagus pieces

Add 2 pre-cut asparagus pieces and mix again with spatula

Heat up oven

Oil your casserole ( I have used 10 inch Quiche casserole) a bit to prevent crust sticking while serving

Spread the dough

With oiled hand or base of a small Mason Jar (oiled as well) spread the Fathead dough throughout the casserole evenly. Do not forget sides as well

Make holes

Using fork, make small holes throughout the whole crust.

Add filling

Spread cheese

Cut all 8 remaining Green asparagus to half and place it on top of the filling. Once done, add the Camembert Cheese throughout the whole dish
