Crab artichoke dip is the classy AF dip that'll slay your party.

Crab Artichoke Dip

(8-oz.) block cream cheese, softened

mayonnaise

c. shredded Monterey Jack, divided

c. Parmesan

(14-oz.) can artichoke hearts,

garlic,

lump crabmeat

green onions, thinly sliced

Worcestershire sauce

Kosher salt

black pepper

tbsp. Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

baguette, sliced

olive oil

garlic clove, top sliced off

I used Old Bay seasoning in mine which helped. With some pepper jack cheese  And a dash of hot sauce.  It helps to use really good ingredients, full fat, not store brand.

Basic recipe. Used Cajun season and soaked the crab in soy. On top to melt..used a great feta cheese. Make it your own..unlimited possibilities.

This was really bland.  My company didn't even eat it.  Fortunately, I only cooked half of it and was able to salvage the other half with a small can of green chilies, a tsp. of tobasco sauce, 1/4 tsp. cayenne and some chopped tomatoes.  Ahhh ... much begtter.

Very easy to put together and a great successful appetizer. I will be making this again for a party and also Christmas Eve.

Needs lemon. Watch the salt as all the ingredients already have salt in them. I liked it better cold the next day.

Delicious and attractive.  I used a Royal Worcester baking dish, and counted it as one of the "Seven Fishes" on Christmas Eve.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir together until combined and fold in lump crab meat.

Spread in a small casserole dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until heated through and bubbly. Serve with a slice baguette or tortilla chips.

INSANELY DELICIOUS HOT CRAB DIP

Hot crab dip is a fabulous way for you to ramp up your appetizer dip game. You can make this dip a day or two in advance; just cover and refrigerate the dip before you bake it, adding 5 to 7 minutes to the baking time if the dip is baked right from the fridge.

unsalted butter

shallots,

cayenne pepper

tsp Old Bay seasoning

dry mustard

dry white wine

oz (1 ½ bricks) cream cheese,

oz sharp white cheddar cheese, grated (about 1 ½ cups)

oz Gouda cheese, grated (about 1 ½ cups)

lemon

¼ cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, divided

Preheat oven to 400° F. You'll need a...

Preheat oven to 400° F. You'll need a 13x9-inch or 3-quart baking dish - no need to grease it.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over...

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.  Stir in the shallots, cayenne, Old Bay, and dry mustard, and cook until the shallots have softened, about 2 minutes.  Add the wine and cook for 1 minute, scraping up any bits on the bottom of the pan.

Stir in the half-and-half and bring the mixture...

Stir in the half-and-half and bring the mixture to a simmer.  Add the cream cheese a couple ounces at a time, whisking to incorporate the cheese before adding more.  Turn down the heat to low.  By the handful, stir in the shredded cheddar and Gouda, again combining into the mixture before adding more.  Stir in the lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and allow the whole mixture to warm through for 3 to 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.  Fold in the crab and half of the parsley.

Transfer the dip to the baking dish and...

Transfer the dip to the baking dish and bake the dip for 15 minutes.  After 15 minutes, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle crushed crackers over the top.  Continue to bake for an additional 10 to 12 minutes, until the dip is hot and bubbly.  If the crackers seems to brown too quickly, lay a piece of aluminum foil over the top towards the end.  Let the dip rest for 10 minutes before sprinkling the remaining parsley over the top and serving.

Preheat the oven.

Preheat the oven to 350° F. Lightly grease a shallow baking dish with cooking spray. I like to use my pie dish.

Combine the ingredients.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese, tartar sauce, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Old Bay, and lemon juice. Next fold in the crab meat, half the Monterey Jack cheese, and half the mozzarella cheese with a rubber spatula. Careful not to break up the crab meat!

Bake the dip.

Transfer the mixture into your baking dish, and top the dip with the remaining shredded cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and dip is heated through.

Serve.

Garnish with parsley and serve with toasted baguette.

lb Jumbo Lump Crab Meat

oz Colby Jack Cheese ((shredded))

oz Cheddar Cheese ((shredded))

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Check crab meat for any shell fragments and remove them before using the crab meat in your dip. Drain off any excess liquid.

Mix room temperature cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and dijon mustard in a large mixing bowl. Use a hand mixer to whisk together all of the ingredients. Mix until fully combined and smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Then add in old bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, chives, and lemon juice. Continue to mix until combined.

Add half ot the sharp cheddar cheese, half of the colby jack cheese, and all of that fresh lump crab meat. Fold together with a rubber spatula and add to an oven safe baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes, then broil for 3-5 minutes.

Allow the dip to cool for 10 minutes. Serve with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Add cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Stir in mayo, sour cream, garlic, green onion, Old Bay seasoning, salt, Worcestershire, and lemon juice.

Add ¾ cup cheddar cheese and hot sauce and mix until smooth. Stir in crab meat.

Spread into a 9″ pie dish or similar size baking pan and sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Serve warm, with slices of sourdough bread, crackers, tortilla chips or chopped cold veggies.

Leftover crab dip will keep, stored covered in the fridge, for up to 3 days. Rewarm in the microwave.

Fold in 3/4 cup of parmesan cheese and 1 lb Lump Crab Meat, canned. Taste to see if you would like more hot sauce.

Spread in a small oven safe dish or cast iron pan and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes until heated through and bubbly.

This turned out great. Used Dungeness crab otherwise followed the recipe.

Added two teaspoons cajun seasoning instead of the 1.5 in the recipe. So cheesy and delicious!
