Pressure Cook Apples: Place cinnamon stick(s), ½ (1g) tsp nutmeg, ¼ cup (60ml) cold water and 3 lbs (1.36kg) quartered apples in Instant Pot Pressure Cooker. With Venting Knob in Venting Position, close the lid, then turn Venting Knob to Sealing Position. Pressure Cook at High Pressure for 5 minutes + Natural Release. Open the lid carefully.

Blend &amp; Season Applesauce: Remove cinnamon stick(s) and blend the applesauce into desired consistency with an immersion blender. Taste the applesauce and add a pinch of salt. Add honey to taste. Serve applesauce &amp; enjoy~

Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Applesauce

Instant Pot Applesauce is a healthy, sweet, delicious snack (or dessert) made with two kinds of apples and your favorite seasonings. Enjoy this seasonal treat warm or cold!

Place the apples, apple juice, sugar, and cinnamon in the pressure cooking pot, and stir to combine. Select High Pressure and a 4 minute cook time. (It will take around 10 minutes to come up to pressure.)

Stir the apples with a spoon or a potato masher, breaking up large chunks, until you've achieved your desired consistency. For a smoother consistency, you can also blend the apples with an immersion blender in the pot or use a food mill.

Instant Pot Applesauce is incredibly easy to make using just 3 ingredients and no added sugar. Customize your flavour and level of sweetness by adding peach, strawberry or blueberry! Perfect as a healthy snack or dessert!

Instant Pot Applesauce (4 ways!)

fruit (peach, strawberry, blueberry) (optional)

Place sliced apple in the Instant Pot. Pour in 1/2 cup water and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Add the additional fruit, if using.

Cook on Manual High pressure for 10 minutes. It will take 15-20 minutes to come to pressure. At the end of cooking time, allow a Natural Pressure Release. The pressure release will take about 20 minutes.

Open the lid and use an immersion blender to carefully blend the cooked fruit (use an oven mitt or silicon glove if you touch the hot insert while blending). Even better, let it cool a bit so it&#039;s safer to blend. You can also scoop the apple/fruit mixture into a high-speed blender for an even smoother texture.

Transfer to sealable storage containers and let it cool completely before chilling it in the refrigerator. You&#039;ll find the applesauce will thicken a bit once chilled. Eat within 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

This easy Strawberry Beet Instant Pot Applesauce is delicious, has no added sugar and gets its amazing color from beets! Kid-friendly and the perfect way to get veggies in at breakfast, lunch, snack or whenever!

Strawberry Beet Instant Pot Applesauce

apples, cored and roughly chopped (I left the skins on

strawberries (about 4 cups whole. Frozen berries are okay too.)

juice of 1/2 a lemon

Combine all prepped ingredients in your Instant Pot.

Place the lid on your Instant Pot and lock it into place.  Make sure the valve on top is switched to sealing.

Cook on HIGH pressure for 8 minutes. It will take your Instant Pot about 10 minutes to get up to pressure before it starts cooking.

Once cook time is up, quick release the pressure.

Carefully remove the lid of your Instant Pot. Using an immersion blender, puree the sauce to your desired consistency. If you don’t have an immersion blender, you can let the sauce cool a bit and then transfer it to a blender to puree.

Sauce may seem thin when warm. It thickens up as it cools. Enjoy or let it cool completely before storing in an air tight container in fridge for up to a week or in your freezer for months.
