Instant Pot Steel Cut Oats

In a 6-quart Instant Pot, stir together the water, almond milk, oats, salt, and maple syrup. Cover and seal. Cook on HIGH pressure (manual) for 4 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes. Carefully remove lid.

Give the oats a big stir. Carefully taste (they will be hot!) and add additional cinnamon and/or maple syrup to taste. The oats will continue to thicken as they cool. Ladle into serving bowls and serve hot with any desired toppings.

This Creamy Pressure Cooker Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal is a delicious spin on traditional oatmeal. Make this easy delicious breakfast in your Electric Pressure Cooker any day of the week.&nbsp;

Creamy Pressure Cooker Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal

water (divided)

rolled old fashioned oats

milk 2%

pumpkin puree

tsp pumpkin pie spice

tsp vanilla extract

pecans

Pour one cup of water in the Pressure Cooker. Press sauté button to boil the water.

To make the Pressure Cooker come to pressure quickly

Meanwhile, add oats, other one cup of water, milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to steamer insert or pyrex dish, whichever you are using. Stir and cover.

Press Cancel on the Instant Pot and place covered steamer insert directly in Pressure Cooker. If using Pyrex dish, place on trivet.

Cover Pressure Cooekr and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes.

Once timer goes off, allow Pressure Cooker to naturally release for 5 minutes, then release remaining pressure.

Remove oatmeal from Pressure Cooker and stir. Top with chopped pecans.

Nut Butter (peanut butter, almond butter)

Milk (almond milk, oat milk, soy milk, cow milk, etc.)

Add the oats, water and/or milk, butter (if using), and a pinch of salt to the Instant Pot. Stir well to combine. Secure the lid and cook the oats for 2 minutes, high pressure (it will take approximately 5-8 minutes for the Instant Pot to reach full pressure).

After the cooking time is completed, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure. Carefully remove the lid once the pressure valve pops up and all of the steam has been released.

Enjoy immediately with all of your favorite toppings.
