Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.

Scatter the chocolate in an even layer over the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish or skillet.

Arrange the marshmallows in an even layer on top of the chocolate.

Bake until the marshmallows are puffy and golden brown, and the chocolate is melted (about 5 to 7 minutes).

Serve warm from the oven, with graham crackers and/or an assortment of dippers.

We tried this today. The top was great but the chocolate part was extremely dry and hard. Almost burnt like. Any ideas?

Using a stand mixer (or hand mixer + large bowl), blend together 4 ounces cream cheese, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and the marshmallow creme on high speed until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.  If using mini marshmallows, turn off mixer and add about 3/4 cup in with the marshmallow mixture, then gently stir with a spatula. Set bowl aside.

In another medium bowl, whip together remaining 1/2 cup powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract on high until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes. Set whipped cream nearby.

In a new medium bowl, blend together remaining 4 oz cream cheese and cocoa powder on high until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Add just-prepared whipped cream to bowl and mix on low until cream and chocolate are completely incorporated, about another 2-3 minutes.

To assemble the dip: Add fluffy marshmallow and chocolate dips to a single bowl, alternating between the two (TIP: alternate which side of the bowl you layer the flavors for a mixed looks). When the boil is full, use a spoon or butter knife to drag through the dip, swirling the colors together. Top the dip with the remaining 1/4 cup mini marshmallows.

Serve dip immediately with graham crackers for dipping.

Spread the chocolate chips into the bottom of a cast iron pan.

Bake in the oven for 3-3 ½ minutes or until chocolate chips look glossy and have started to melt.

Remove from oven and spread the mini marshmallows into a single layer on top of the chocolate.

Return to oven and continue cooking for 6-7 minutes or until marshmallows are toasted and golden brown.

Remove from oven and serve immediately with graham cracker or any of your favorite dippers.  Enjoy!

Break up the chocolate bars along the break lines and line on the bottom of an 8 or 9 inch cast iron skillet. (If using a regular pan, be sure to grease it with cooking spray.) It’s OK if some overlap, but be careful to not stack too many pieces on top of one another or they may not melt properly.

Add a layer of marshmallows on top of the chocolate. Place them touching each other, but know they will expand.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until marshmallows are brown on top. Watch closely after 5 minutes … marshmallows can burn.

Remove from oven and let sit for about 5 minutes so the chocolate can continue to melt.

Serve immediately from pan with graham crackers for dipping.

Came out perfectly! Followed the directions exactly, marshmallows and chocolate came out just right! Chocolate was melted and gooey, marshmallows lightly browned. It was a huge hit!

Greasing a pan will affect the chocolate. I followed these instructions exactly as written and the Hershey bars dried up instead of melting. The marshmallows were perfect.
