Use a large cookie scoop (or whatever size scoop you'd like!) and roll the dough into balls.

Place the dough balls on a non-stick baking mat. Use the tins of a fork to make a criss-cross pattern, pressing down into the cookie dough. Sprinkle extra white sugar on the tops of the cookies. Refrigerate the cookies for 30 minutes.

Bake the cookies at 375 degrees for 9-10 minutes. If you like cookies to be soft, be sure not to overbake them. They shouldn't be browned at all.

Store in an airtight container.

Everyone needs a classic, old-fashioned peanut butter cookie recipe. Make bakery-style, soft peanut butter cookies at home with this simple recipe. 

BAKERY STYLE, SOFT PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
Time to share another of our “famous” bakery style cookie recipes! (Famous= popular in our family. 🙂 ) I love my cookies soft, slightly underbaked, and THICK. Oh, yeah, and they have to be straight from the oven. That is, barely cooled off enough to not burn my hand. If I had to choose one of our bakery style cookie recipes as my favorite, these soft peanut butter cookies would be at the top of the list. Why? Well, because of a few reasons:
1: They’re peanut butter cookies, and I looooovvvveeee peanut butter! (Obviously!)
2: These cookies are thick and soft. No hard, crispy edges here.

 
3: Lastly, they are moist. A lot of times peanut butter cookies are very dry and crumbly, especially the kind you buy from the store. You could have the classic peanut butter cookie look, but unfortunately, I’ve had to second guess myself before grabbing a cookie. Some types of peanut butter cookies are so dry, you can barely taste the peanut butter. Thankfully, these cookies are not that way. In fact, these cookies are bursting with peanut butter flavor and stay soft!

Ingredients

1 cup butter softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar for sprinkling


Instructions
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add vanilla and mix. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. Add to mixture in mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
Use a large cookie scoop (or whatever size scoop you'd like!) and roll the dough into balls.

How to Make SOFT PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES {Recipe Video

Cake Mix Cookies are absolutely my favorite way to bake cookies! By using a boxed cake mix as the base, the cookies come out soft and chewy every single time. Flavor your cookies with all kinds of mix-ins, from chocolate chips to rainbow sprinkles to mini marshmallows. The list goes on and on!

Cake Mix Cookies

box cake mix (15.25 oz)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and oil. Beat until well combined. Stir in sprinkles, nuts, or chips as desired, until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Using a portion scoop, or spoon, drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. Be sure to leave about an inch between cookies, to allow for spread.

Bake for 10-13 minutes, until the cookies begin to slightly turn golden around the edges. Remove from the oven, and allow them to rest for about 2-3 minutes, before transferring them to cool on a rack.

Bear Paws cookies recipe with classic old fashioned soft molasses. The gentle spicing is wonderful (ginger &amp; cinnamon) &amp; the texture is just so perfect.

Crosby’s Fancy Molasses

Preheat oven to 400°F and line cookie  sheets with parchment paper.

In a large bowl cream butter and sugar. Beat in molasses and egg.

In a separate bowl whisk the flour, spices, and salt.

Combine the hot water and baking soda in a little cup. Pour into the butter mixture and stir to combine.

Add the dry ingredients and stir until incorporated.

Instructions:

Using a medium cookie scoop or a tablespoon, make the middle of the paws and then use a teaspoon measure to make four toes. This will be a little messy but will get easier once you have done a few.

Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Let cookies cool for a few minutes before transferring to a rack to cool completely.

To make the paws:

This Funfetti Skillet Cookie is a soft-baked cake-like cookie with a subtle vanilla flavor.

Funfetti Skillet Cookie

C Unsalted butter

C + 1 tsp Granulated sugar

tbsp egg

tsp Pure vanilla extract

C All-purpose flour

Vanilla cake mix

Baking powder

Salt

tbsp Sprinkles

Gently beat butter on medium speed for a minute or two to soften. Add sugar and continue to beat until sugar and butter are well mixed.

In a separate bowl, crack an egg and whisk with a fork. Measure out 2 ½ tablespoons of the beaten egg and add to mixing bowl. Discard the rest of the egg. You should scrape down the bowl before turning your mixer back on.

Beat egg into the butter and sugar, add vanilla and continue to mix.

Add dry ingredients: flour, vanilla cake mix, baking powder and salt. Turn mixer on low to begin and increase speed to medium after a minute or two until dough forms.

Add sprinkles last and mix to incorporate.

Gently spray skillet with cooking spray. Divide cookie dough between each skillet.

Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool completely. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

½ c All purpose flour

¾ c Shortening

Nutmeg

½ c Molasses

Blend together the shortening sugar, egg and molasses in a separate bowl.

Form the dough into 24 evenly sized balls, and roll in granulated sugar.

Place the rolled cookies onto the baking sheet and bake for 8-12 minutes.

Allow the cookies to cool before serving.

Italian Chocolate Spice Cookies Recipe is an easy one-bowl chocolate cookie that is soft and cake-like with plenty of chocolaty flavor and a hint of warm spice. This is an old family recipe you will love.

Italian Chocolate Spice Cookies Recipe

cocoa powder

nutmeg

eggs, room temperature

milk

butter, melted and cooled

ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted and cooled

orange (optional)

powdered sugar for rolling cookies

In a large bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whisk the eggs on medium-high speed until nice and frothy (about 3-4 minutes). Slowly add sugar. Continue to whisk until well combined and slightly thickened. The mixture will be pale yellow and light.

Add the milk, butter, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and zest (if using). Mix until well combined. Remove the bowl from the stand mixer.

Sift in the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and spices) over the mixture of wet ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until well combined. At this point, the dough will be soft.Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Take the dough out of the fridge and scoop the dough with medium-sized cookie scoop. Roll the dough into a ball with floured hands.

Roll each dough ball into a smooth ball and then roll in a small bowl of powdered sugar (icing sugar). Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Continue to roll until all of the dough is used.

Bake for about 10 minutes or until firm to the touch. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely. Enjoy slightly warm, or room temperature. 

These cookies are full of flavor and super easy to make all in one bowl. Enjoy!

Cherry Surprise Cookies

maraschino cherries

Line a small bowl with paper towel and place cherries inside to drain.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Add egg, milk, and vanilla, and mix to combine. Once combined, beat for 30 seconds.

Add salt and baking powder, and mix well. Then add the flour, and stir slowly until combined.

Scoop out cookies and drop onto cookie sheet.

Pick up a dough mound and carefully flatten into 2&quot; disc.

Place a cherry in the center and fold edges up around it. Crimp and seal, then roll until nicely rounded.

Place on cookie sheet, and repeat for each mound. Place on two cookie sheets.

If dipping them in sugar, do so now.

Bake at 350 degrees 12-15 minutes until lightly golden around the edge and the outside is starting to crack.

Cool on cookie sheet 5 minutes, then move to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container on the counter for up to a week.

Heat oven to 375. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar well.

Add mashed banana and egg. Beat well.

Stir in flour, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt

Add walnuts, cinnamon chips, coconut, and blueberries. Stir just until blended.

Add oats and stir until incorporated. The dough will be very soft.

Scoop in rounded tablespoons about 1 inch apart on prepared baking sheets.

Bake 11-12 minutes. Move to cooling rack.

I used fresh blueberries. 
Other than loosing a little blueberry juice on cookie sheets- which were covered w parchment paper- worked fine
