Turkey Bacon Avocado Sandwich

To make the chipotle mayo, mix the mayo and chipotle sauce until smooth.

Cook the bacon over medium heat until fully cooked through and crispy.

Toast the bread until nice and toasty.

Add about 1-2 tbsp of chipotle mayo to the bread. Place the crispy bacon, salted tomatoes, avocado, provolone cheese, and sliced turkey on top of the ciabatta bread and top it off with the second piece of ciabatta bread. 

Use your leftover turkey and cranberry sauce to make some seriously delicious sweet-and-savory sliders.

Turkey Sandwich

Lightly toast the bread.

Spread 2 of the slices with mayonnaise.

Top with cheese, turkey, lettuce, and tomatoes (optional). Season with salt &amp; pepper if desired.

Spread remaining slices of bread with cranberry sauce and top sandwich.

Cut in half and serve.

Cook the bacon according to package instructions until crisp and then place on paper towels to drain.

Place the bread in a toaster or toaster oven and toast to lightly golden brown.

While the bread is toasting, stir together the mayonnaise and Cajun seasoning until fully combined. When the toast is done, spread the Cajun mayo across the surface of one slice of bread.

Place the lettuce and tomato on the other slice of bread and top with the turkey and bacon slices. Place the bread with the Cajun mayo on top, mayo said down. Slice the sandwich in half before serving.

Heat a skillet over low-medium heat. It’s really important to use a lower heat so the cheese will melt inside, and the outsides will be golden brown. 

Generously butter the outsides of the bread and place butter side down in the skillet.

Place a slice of cheese on top of each piece of bread.

Add sliced turkey to one side. Add bacon to the other side.

Let cook until the bottom is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Add any extra sandwich ideas on (tomatoes, pickles, avocado, lettuce, etc).

Put slices of bread together, buttered side out, to make the sandwich.

Remove from the skillet and cool for about 1 minute. Cut. Serve

Roasted turkey, sweet apple slices, and sharp cheddar are sandwiched in between homemade cranberry walnut bread. This Turkey Sandwich is the BEST!

Make the Honey mustard by mixing together the honey and mustard. Spread on all 8 slices of bread.

Assemble

Layer 4 slices of bread with the turkey, apple, cheese, onion, and lettuce. Place remaining 4 slices of bread on top of sandwiches and slice. Serve immediately.

Buffalo Turkey Sandwiches

Buffalo Sauce:

butter (1 stick)

garlic powder

tbsp. white wine or apple cider vinegar

Cut the turkey breast into four cutlets for four sandwiches. I like to use the thin, lower portion of the breast lobe. If you use the thick, upper part of the meat, cut it into ½-inch slices. Pound each cutlet with a meat mallet to roughly ¼-inch thick or less.

Mix the buttermilk, salt, and 2 tablespoons of buffalo sauce. Pour the mixture over the cutlets and marinate for at least one hour and up to 24 hours. While marinating, heat the oil in a deep fryer or a large cast iron skillet with 1 inch of oil to 350 degrees.

Spread flour across a plate. Remove the cutlets from the marinade and squeeze out the excess liquid. Dredge each cutlet across the flour, shake it, dip it back into the buttermilk, and then dredge in flour again. Do this to each piece.

When the oil is hot, drop in each piece of meat and fry until golden brown, or about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack.

Pour enough buffalo sauce over the fried turkey breast to thoroughly coat.

Assemble the sandwiches with the fried turkey cutlet and desired toppings.

Combine the hot sauce, butter, garlic powder, vinegar, in a small pot over medium-low heat. Bring to a simmer and whisk to combine. Turn the heat off and add 1-2 dashes of Worcestershire to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the turkey and gravy to the skillet and warm through, stirring occasionally.

Reheat the stuffing in a microwave safe container for 1 minute or until heated through.

If using, spread 1 tablespoon cranberry sauce over the top of each slice of bread.

Divide the stuffing equally among the four slices of bread and spread over the cranberry sauce.

Arrange the turkey on top of the stuffing and spoon some of the gravy over the sandwich.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.

Lay out all ingredients. Spread mayonnaise on bread slices and layer one slice with sliced turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, salt and pepper, and any other additional toppings.

If you don't have a sandwich press warm a skillet, place a sandwich on it to toast, flattening it with spatula. Heat 1 minute a side.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Toast the focaccia in the oven for 5-8 minutes. 

Mix the pesto and the mayo together in a small bowl to make a pesto mayo.

Keeping the bread flat on a cutting board, turn your serrated knife sideways and slice horizontally through the center of the loaf. (You don&#8217;t want to flip the top and lose those yummy crumbles.) Keeping the top piece flat, set it aside.

Layer the sandwich with pesto mayo, turkey, tomato, greens, red onion, and finish with dollops of pesto mayo. I dollop the top layer of pesto mayo directly on top of the greens and onions so that I don&#8217;t have to flip my top piece upside down to spread it on the bread.

Gently press your top piece back on top of the sandwich. When it&#8217;s nice and secure, use a large knife to cut through the sandwich. I usually cut it down the middle and across 3 times for a total of 6 pieces. Serve and enjoy! This is sandwich goals.

I'm not sure where you live, but you can probably find a similar delicious one at another grocery store. I've seen all sorts of great breads at Aldi, Walmart, SuperTarget, Whole Foods, Fresh Market, etc., even any of our regional grocers like Publix and Winn-Dixie. (You obvs may have different stores). :) Keep an eye out! (You can even jazz up plain focaccia yourself first with some sundried tomatoes and parm, etc. and bake it.)

This sandwich is outstanding! I've made twice in the last two weeks.

I made this this week- I made fresh pesto sauce for the pesto mayo AND I added Burrata. I also Just toasted the bead in the toaster instead of heating up the oven.  Oh my lanta it was good! Make it.

Made this for a birthday party. So easy and delicious. Great party sandwich.

Woah this is even tastier than it looks! Make these for several days in a row for the whole family. Used sriracha mayo and couldn’t get enough! Going to have to make a Trader Joe’s run now…

I made this tonight and it was so good!  I couldn’t find the bread so I bought a plain focaccia and some sun dried tomato pesto and spread that on top with extra parm before I baked it. It was perfect!

YUM, I finally put this together for the fastest dinner. I used a bag of Trader Joe’s Mediterranean salad as the greens and it was just perfect!

Made this for the Chiefs game tonight (Go Patrick! Go Travis!) and it was perfect. I added provolone and broiled that with the turkey so it was warm when I served it. Really easy &amp; really good—I’ll definitely make this again!

The past few times I have added a little of whatever homemade vinaigrette I have on hand to the top and it’s just so so good. 
My husband just said I don’t know if anything that could make this sandwich any better! And my 3 and 4 year old boys eat it too! Great fast summer dinner

Made this for lunch today as written except for the greens because I didn’t have any and it was still delicious. This recipe is a keeper! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Superb sammie! Used TJ Sun-Dried Tomato Focaccia along with lots of  leftover turkey I roasted (highly recommend!) Toppings were: the pesto-mayo, dill havarti cheese (TJ) red onion, sliced avocado, spinach, &amp; fresh basil. Fantastic!

Trader Joe’s Sun-Dried Tomato Focaccia Turkey Sandwich

The classic turkey sub made with cheese, lettuce, and tomato all inside a delicious bread makes this sandwich a filling and tasty lunch!

EPIC Turkey Sub Sandwich

Mustard (optional)

oz oven roasted turkey

Monterrey Jack cheese (or any)

tomato (optional)

green lettuce leaves

Spread mayonnaise and mustard on each of the sub halves.

Top the mayonnaise side with lettuce, oven roasted turkey, cheese slices, and tomato slices. Close the sandwich with the top half of the sub bread.

Serve it with fresh fruit and veggies if desired.

If making this sub for later, place the cheese between the bread and the tomato so the top half of the sub sandwich doesn’t get soggy. Refrigerate until ready to pack inside a lunch bag, with or without an ice pack.
