Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake hard to chill and combine ingredients.

Japanese-Inspired latte with a healthy green matcha tea base, light sweetened with dairy or non-dairy milk.

Matcha Green Tea Latte

Pour the matcha green tea powder into a mug along with 1/4 cup of hot water. Let the tea &quot;bloom&quot; for 1-2 minutes, whisking rapidly to break up any small pieces. For this you can use a wooden matcha whisk or a small metal whisk (a matcha whisk works best).

If you have an automatic milk frother, add the milk to the frother, heat and froth the milk, pour it into the bloomed matcha and sweeten to taste.

If you do not have a frother, add bloomed matcha to a small saucepan with the milk and sugar or sweetener. Heat until mixture bubbles around the edges, whisking constantly. If you prefer a frothy latte, use an immersion blender to carefully whip up some foam after it's done heating.

Pour into a large mug, serve and enjoy! Adjust the sweetener to taste. This type of latte tastes best lightly sweetened.

Matcha Green Tea Latte Recipe - Japanese-inspired latte with healthy matcha tea and dairy or non-dairy milk.

This creamy coconut water smoothie will rejuvenate and rehydrate after the fast. Strawberries, bananas, coconut milk. Dairy free, gluten free.

Honey, agave nectar, sugar,

If using fresh strawberries, stem them and rinse them clean. Combine strawberries, bananas, coconut water and coconut milk in a blender. For a colder smoothie, you can freeze fresh strawberries prior to blending, or add a few ice cubes to the blender.

Pulse, then blend until smooth. Taste. Add sweetener to taste, if desired. Blend again. Serve.

The Alabama Slammer is a classic cocktail recipe featuring Southern Comfort. It's also got amaretto, orange juice and sloe gin, so it's a sweet, fruity drink that's hard not to love.

Pineapple Lime Luau Slushy Punch

Dole 100% Pineapple Juice

2-liter bottles lemon-lime soda

can lemon-lime frozen concentrate

strawberries (optional)

empty 1 gallon milk jugs (or similar)

Divide all ingredients (except for strawberries) in half and pour into TWO 1-gallon milk jugs with lids.&nbsp;

Mixture will NOT fill the containers. Do not combine into one jug. The carbonated soda will expand while freezing to fill entire containers.&nbsp;

Put lids on milk jugs and place in freezer. Allow to freeze for at least 7 hours - overnight.&nbsp;

Take milk jugs out of freezer 2-3 hours before serving. Cut milk jugs in half and take frozen mixture out of milk jugs and put in a large bowl.&nbsp;

Break frozen mixture into smaller pieces and pour thawed punch over the top.&nbsp;

Add sliced strawberries (optional)

In a 2-cup (500 ml) mason-style jar, combine the bourbon, passion fruit juice, orange juice, lemon juice and cane syrup. Fill with ice cubes. Add the basil leaf and top off with the ginger ale. Thread the grape onto the thyme sprig and place on the rim of the jar.

Place the sliced peaches into the bottom of the sangria pitcher.

In a small saucepan, bring 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool. This is your simple syrup.

Pour the simple syrup, peach liqueur and white wine over the peaches. Stir.Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.

When ready to serve, top the pitcher off with chilled ginger ale and stir gently. Serve in wine glasses, allowing a piece of fruit or two into each glass.

The ginger ale will lose its carbonation quickly in the pitcher, but will still add a great flavor. If you&#039;d like a more sparkling sangria, top the glasses off, rather than the pitcher. Fill each glass half full with sangria and top off with ginger ale. This will make the final beverage more carbonated and sparkling.

The recipes in this collection include dairy ingredients like milk and cheese.

According to Kosher Law, meat must not be eaten in combination with dairy. However, fish and/or eggs with dairy are permitted.  Some Sephardic traditions do not mix fish and dairy, but there is no Torah law forbidding the practice.  Kosher Jews will wait 3-6 hours between a meat meal and a dairy meal, in order to fully cleanse the system. Dishes and utensils used for meat must not be used for dairy, and vice versa.

To make the tea concentrate, combine all ingredients except for tea bags and vanilla in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.&nbsp;

Remove from heat and add the tea bags and vanilla. Let the mixture steep for at least 10 minutes.

Pour through a fine mesh strainer. Put the concentrate into a sealable container and refrigerate until ready to use. This will keep for up to 7 days. Shake well before using.

To make 1 latte, whisk together the coconut milk, coconut sugar and turmeric in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat just until the mixture bubbles around the edges of the pan. Remove from heat.

Combine the warm milk mixture with 1/4 cup of the tea concentrate in a glass. Stir to combine. Garnish with ground cinnamon if desired. You can adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less sugar to taste; I prefer this only mildly sweet.

Note: If you prefer a frothy latte, use a milk frother or transfer the milk mixture to a deep container and pulse with an immersion blender until frothy. Then combine with 1/4 cup of tea concentrate and serve.

How to Make Herb Infused Simple Syrups

herb per batch of Simple Syrup:

Carefully rinse your herbs clean. You will use one type of herb for each batch of simple syrup. Here, I am making three batches - basil, rosemary, and mint.

Bring water to a boil. Add the sugar and whisk into the boiling water. Continue whisking till sugar is dissolved.

Add herb of choice to the syrup. Let it boil for 60 seconds.Remove from heat and let the herbs steep for about 30 minutes as the syrup cools. Use a slotted spoon to remove the herbs from the syrup.

Pour the cooled syrup through a fine mesh strainer or multiple layers of cheesecloth into a glass bottle or jar.

Close the bottle and put a tag on it so you don't forget which flavor syrup you've made.

Store herb infused simple syrup in the refrigerator. Add to your favorite drinks for a sophisticated, herbal essence and added sweetness.

How to garnish your cocktail or drink with a pretty lemon twist, lime twist, or orange twist.

How to Make a Lemon or Lime Twist

fresh ripe lemon, lime,

Take a fresh lemon, lime, or orange. Slice a ring from it, about 1/4 inch thick, from the thickest part of the citrus.

Make a slice through one side of the peel and the pulp.

Use a paring knife to carefully slice around the fruit to separate the peel from the round of citrus. The white part of the peel, called the pith, is bitter. You don&#39;t want a lot of it on your lemon curl, but you do need a little pith intact for the curl to hold its shape. Aim to slice halfway between the edge of the citrus and the fruit, about halfway through the pith.

Cut the fruit pulp off of the peel so that you have one long thin strip of peel.

Trim any thick parts of pith away from the citrus peel strip.

Trim the edges, if you want to, to make the strip a uniform width (this is optional and will make it look more &quot;perfect&quot;).

Twist the peel into a curly-q shape. You can simply twist it with your hands.

Or, you can twist it around a long skewer - like a chopstick. Use the warmth of your hands to mold the peel into a spiral curl. The peel should naturally hold its shape.

Use lemon or lime twists to garnish cocktails or beverages. Orange twists are lovely too. Sometimes called a lemon curl, lime curl, or orange curl, this citrus garnish couldn&#39;t be easier to make - and it will add a lovely, aromatic touch to your drink.
