Easy and delicious- harkens back to childhood and eating “Underwood Deviled Ham”.   Tasty with crackers, as a sandwich or on a bed of mixed greens. I added two small sweet gherkins.  You can add hard boiled eggs too but I didn’t this time. 

Very good combination! Followed it to a 'T' using leftover homemade honey/mustard glazed ham, my wife makes garden bread and butter pickles, we used a garden red onion and we have some German spicy whole grained yellow mustard.  Nice kick!! I was going to add pepper but I'm glad I did not!
