Easy Golden Milk Overnight Oats [ vegan ]

In a small saucepan over low-medium heat, whisk together milk and spices until warm. Add in honey and coconut oil. Whisk again until honey is dissolved. Do not let mixture come to a boil. Remove saucepan from heat and allow to cool for 10 minutes.

In a 16oz jar, add oats, chia seeds, and optional add-ins if using. Pour cooled golden milk mixture into jar and tightly cover with lid. Shake jar until ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Store in fridge for 6-8 hours before serving.

Serve with fresh fruit, flaked coconut, sprinkle more cinnamon, add nut butter, etc. and enjoy!

Golden Milk Overnight Oats

Overnight steel cut oats is perfect for make ahead breakfasts. Choose from four topping ideas and meal prep a batch of oatmeal for the week!

Overnight Steel Cut Oats

½ cups steel cut oats

water

almond milk

salt

banana (sliced)

peanut butter

peanuts (chopped)

strawberries (sliced)

nutella

hazelnuts (chopped)

maple syrup

green apple (sliced)

caramel sauce

pecans (chopped)

chocolate bar (chopped)

almond butter

dates (chopped)

honey

In a large pot over medium-high heat, bring the water, milk and salt to a boil.

Stir in the oats and continue mixing with the liquid for 2-3 minutes to warm up the oats.

Turn off the heat, cover the pot with a lid and leave overnight at room temperature.

In the morning, remove the lid, heat for a couple minutes while stirring the mixture, and serve with your favorite topping combinations.

In a large mixing bowl, add old-fashioned rolled oats, chia seeds, protein powder, and cinnamon. Stir to distribute evenly.

Stir in almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Seal the bowl with a lid, refrigerate overnight. I recommend stirring the mixture 1 hour after you pop it in the fridge. This prevents the chia seeds from sinking to the bottom of the bowl.

The next day, serve in small serving jars with peanut butter, dairy-free yogurt, fresh berries, and nuts.

In a large bowl, mash together ripe bananas with a fork until creamy and most of the lumps are gone.

Stir in gluten-free oats, chia seeds, almond milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. Cover and set in the refrigerator overnight (or a minimum of 3 hours).

To serve, dish into bowls or jars. Top with almond butter, cream, fruit, dried fruit chips, or any other favorite toppings of your choice. Optional: add in jam to the bottom of the jar for more sweet flavor.

Add your oats, chia seeds and salt to an airtight container and give a good mix.

Based Ingredients

Place your milk in a microwave safe dish and heat up for about a minute to heat through (keep an eye on the milk to make sure it doesn’t overflow in the microwave). Add the sugar cookie tea bag and allow to steep for 4 minutes. Remove the teabag from the milk and carefully squeeze the bag to release any trapped liquid then discard.

Pour the milk over the oat mixture and add the yogurt, liquid sweetener and almond extract. Give the oats a good mix and place in the fridge to set overnight (or for at least 1 hour before consuming). When ready to serve, top as desired.

Sugar Cookie Oats

Chop up 2 tablespoons worth of pecans. Add 1 tablespoon of the chopped pecans to your oats along with the milk, yogurt, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and cinnamon then mix well and place in the fridge for at least an hour.

In a separate small bowl combine the nut butter, molasses, remaining teaspoon of maple syrup, brown sugar and water and whisk until fully combined. Fold in the rest of the chopped pecans and then spread the mixture on top of the oats and top with the remaining pecan halves. Store in the fridge until ready to eat.

Pecan Pie Oats

Add the cocoa powder and spices to the oats and give a good mix. Add the milk and yogurt along with the molasses, vanilla and chocolate chips.

Stir the mixture well then place in the fridge to set overnight (or for at least 1 hour before consuming). When ready to serve, top as desired.

Vegan Overnight Oats

Soy Milk ((120 milliliters)

Tablespoon Almond Butter (or other nut butter)

Tablespoon Chia Seeds

Add the soy milk, almond butter, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon to a jar. Stir. The almond butter will stay chunky - this is fine.

Please note: The homemade vegan lemon curd is best made the day before making overnight oats.

Add the oats and chia seeds to a mixing bowl and whisk together. Then, add in the soy milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, and vanilla and mix into a thick batter.

Fill two jars up 1/3 of the way with the lemon overnight oats. Then, add 1-2 Tablespoons of lemon curd on top of the oats. Fill the jars with the remaining lemon overnight oat batter until full.

Seal the jars and store in the fridge overnight. The next day, remove from the jars from the fridge, add toppings, and enjoy!

Mix: Add the oats and chia seeds to a large bowl and mix well. Pour the strawberry milk into the bowl, then add the chopped strawberries and stir until everything is combined. Let sit for at least 5 minutes, to allow the oats and chia seeds to absorb some of the liquid. Then, mix again to incorporate the extra liquid sitting on top.

Store &amp; Serve: transfer the oatmeal to jars or other containers, then store in the fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Top as desired and enjoy cold or warm; leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Then off it goes into the fridge for the night (or for at least six hours).
