These cauliflower wings are one of hot for food's most popular recipes ever! This recipe is fool proof and you can even make other mouth watering flavors, too!

cauliflower (about 4 to 5 cups of florets)

C unsweetened nondairy milk (almond or soy work best)

water

C all-purpose flour rice

garlic powder

onion powder

tsp cumin

paprika

tsp sea salt

tsp black pepper

butter

C Frank's RedHot sauce

tbsp apple cider vinegar

sea salt,

mayonnaise

milk

tsp apple cider vinegar

tbsp finely chopped fresh dill

tbsp finely chopped parsley

tbsp finely chopped chives

Line baking sheet(s)&nbsp;with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 450°F.

Wash and cut cauliflower head into bite sized pieces/florets.

Mix all the ingredients (minus the vegan butter and hot sauce, this is added separately!) into a mixing bowl.

The batter shouldn't be so thick that it doesn't drip, but also not so thin that it doesn't coat or stick to the cauliflower.&nbsp;If you're using rice flour, you may need to add a little more liquid to get the batter the right consistency. It tends to be slightly thicker.

Dip each floret into the mixture and coat evenly. Tap off the excess a couple of times on the side of the bowl.

Lay florets in an even layer on the parchment lined baking sheet without over crowding. The parchment paper or a silpat mat is essential in preventing the batter from coming off throughout baking! I've tried oiling the baking sheets and they tend to stick. You need parchment paper!

Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown, flipping the florets over half way through to get all sides golden brown and crispy. If you go to flip the cauliflower and the batter is coming off, you need to bake longer on that side!

While the cauliflower is baking, get your ranch dip and wing sauce ready. For the hot wing sauce, melt vegan butter in a small saucepan on low heat and mix in hot sauce. Remove from the heat just as it starts to melt. Stir together and set aside.

If you're making salt and vinegar wings, melt the vegan butter and remove from the heat to stir in apple cider vinegar and water. You will sprinkle sea salt directly on the cauliflower wings after they've been coated with this sauce.

Once the cauliflower is done its first bake in the batter, remove them from the oven and put all the baked florets into a mixing bowl with the wing sauce. Toss to coat evenly, or you can do this in smaller batches.&nbsp;Then spread all the florets coated in wing sauce out onto the same baking sheet. Bake in the oven for another 25 minutes,&nbsp;flipping the florets over half way through. Again, if you go to slip the pieces and the batter is coming off, bake for longer. Oven times and temperature vary from oven to oven!&nbsp;Also, gluten-free rice flour may vary bake time and everyone's oven is different. Watch the florets at both stages and adjust bake time accordingly!

To make the ranch dip, whisk together all the ingredients until smooth and fold in the freshly chopped herbs. If you use a regular vegan mayonnaise without garlic in it already, then you might also want to add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the ranch dip.

Alternatively (and this is how I prepare the ranch), you can blend together vegan mayonnaise, nondairy milk, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt and ground black pepper in a blender. Pour the dip into a jar or serving bowl and stir in the fresh herbs.&nbsp;Refrigerate before serving.

If you’re looking to serve a snack big on flavor this is one of my favorites!  I do love Buffalo Wings, but I think I love this cauliflower even more (and these are much healthier)!

Buffalo Cauliflower

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Cut cauliflower into bite sized pieces discarding the core.

Combine milk, flour, garlic powder, pepper and olive oil in a large bowl. Place batter and cauliflower in a large Ziploc bag and toss until cauliflower is coated.

Pour cauliflower into a large strainer letting any excess batter drip off. Sprinkle with Panko breadcrumbs and gently toss.

Place on a foil lined pan and bake 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and gently toss with buffalo sauce. You want the cauliflower coated but not soaked.

Place back on the pan and bake an additional 5-10 minutes or until cauliflower is tender crisp.

Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.

I put the dry ingredients in a gallon size ziploc bag, added the cauliflower and shook it up. Then added the milk. It coated very well. I sprayed the parchment paper with cooking spray.

They crisped well. After 10 min in the oven I rotated the cauliflower with tongs. They cooked for a total of 18 minutes.

This was a great alternative to greasy chicken wings. I used almond milk and Chalupa sauce. Yummy!

Buffalo Cauliflower Bites With Vegan Cucumber Ranch

cauliflower (, large)

non-dairy milk (,

all-purpose flour (, rice

breadcrumbs (, for gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs)

Vegan Cucumber Ranch

tbsp vegan butter (,

cholula (, or other hot sauce

teasp sriracha

tbsp vinegar (, I used regular distilled vinegar)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the cauliflower into medium sized florets. Wash and set aside to drain out the water.

In a bowl, combine non-dairy milk (soy milk), flour, and 2 teasp garlic powder, and some freshly ground pepper. Whisk and set aside.

In another bowl, add the breadcrumbs.

One at a time, take each individual cauliflower floret, dip it in the milk/flour mixture to coat completely (allow any excess to drip off), then place in the breadcrumb bowl. Using your other clean hand, roll the cauliflower in the breadcrumbs until completely coated on all sides. Place on the parchment lined baking sheet and repeat with the remaining cauliflower florets. (note, by using one hand for the wet coating, and the other hand for the breadcrumbs, it minimizes the clumping in the breadcrumbs bowl).

Once all the cauliflower florets are coated with the liquid mixture and breadcrumbs, place in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes until crispy and slightly golden brown on the outside.

In the meantime, make the sauce. Heat a sauce pan on low-medium heat. Whisk all the sauce ingredients above just until the butter is completely melted and the ingredients are combined. Turn the heat off and set aside.

Once the cauliflower is crispy and slightly golden, remove from the heat and toss a few at a time to completely coat in the sauce and place it back onto the same parchment paper.

If there is extra sauce remaining, drizzle it over the cauliflower with a spoon.

Place the cauliflower back in the oven for about 5-8 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve with Vegan Cucumber Ranch! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and re-heat at 375 degrees the following day!

Preheat oven to 450 degrees and grease a baking sheet.

Stir together salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Stir in milk.

Dip cauliflower in the milk mixture, turning to coat completely, shake off excess and arrange in a single layer on prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes, use a fork to turn over cauliflower pieces, and bake another 10 minutes.

While cauliflower is baking, combine buffalo wing sauce, butter, and honey in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cook 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.

Brush buffalo sauce all over the baked cauliflower, bake another 10 minutes (I like to broil it for the last 2-3 minutes).

Serve fresh with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl combine cauliflower, olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, pepper and 1/4 cup of buffalo sauce. Stir to combine. Spread evenly on baking sheet and cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.*

Five minutes before the cauliflower is done cooking, heat up the remaining buffalo sauce in a saucepan or in the microwave.

Remove cauliflower from the oven and place it back in the bowl. Add remaining heated buffalo sauce and stir to combine.

To assemble tacos, load each tortilla with romaine, avocado and cauliflower. Drizzle with ranch and top with cilantro or green onions.

CUT THE CAULIFLOWER INTO PIECES: Remove most of stem and chop the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

MAKE THE BATTER: In a large bowl, combine almond flour, almond milk ,onion salt, garlic powder and paprika in a bowl and mix until smooth.

Add the cauliflower florets to the mixture and toss to coat.

Place the cauliflower florets in a single layer in air fryer basket, you will have to work in batches.
